Good bikes but so so QC and service

I bought the baby maker 2 for my husband who is an avid bike rider and has 6 high end bikes. He loves this bike! He said the battery power is great! We love the way it looks! Highly recommend the shop and bike!

This company is great. The product (Babymaker 2) is competitively priced with way above average components. It is lighter and rides better than other pedal assist bikes in its class. User friendly and low maintenance. The company's sales team has been non existent with all questions and accessory orders handled by the service and tech department. They rock! All questions answered and very helpful! Assembled in the USA!

Great bike for a good price. I bought it for someone who needs no gear simplicity, but it turned out to be for me. At 75 I need help up the hills. I still have to work at it, but not as much as I would on regular bike. Plus, I can feel myself getting stronger. It was a good buy, and the service has been responsive.

Updated review: 6/20/25: Hub motor failed on the bike, after less than 2 yrs of light use. Rize bike would not help in any way!! DO NOT BUY a Rize bike!!! They will fail and you'll get zero support from the company. Also paint is thin and scratches / chips super easy and the head light failed on this bike as well... Again low miles and less than 2 years old. Zero warranty help, and rude customer service bro's!!

Take a look at the Fixie by Rize eBikes, its a great bike too, but at a lower price and very comparable to BM2. My family owns the two brands and they're both excellent light weight single speeds.

FLX has continuously done right by me since owning the bike. There was a minor issue that the team was able to resolve quickly and with empathy. Later i needed further support and they were quick to my aid. The whole team is so generous and kind.

This bike looks Fly. All black and without a logo, it is a stealth bike that nobody will think has a motor or battery in it. Even when I tell people about that they wonder if I am pulling a fast one on them.

One moment you are riding it like a regular bike and the next moment when you crank up the motor assist, you will feel like you are fly-ing. Whether your goal is to conquer the hill or put a little pep in your speed, it can all be achieved quickly and you get to choose the effort.

This has rekindled the joy and love of riding, thank you BabyMaker II!

I purchase a bike and am fortunate to live only about an hour from the SanDiego shop. I love all their bikes and they took the time to set my bike up and I added the Cage Bottle on the spot. This is my 3rd bike I purchased from them for myself and family members.

Hello. Great experience with all the team (especially with Jeff). I had a problem with the controller and they sent it to me in 4 days (SF to Spain). The only problem is that I had to pay customs but they offered me a discount.

I have 2000 miles on my FLX Trail and recently broke my rear axel. I called service to order the part and was told they wouldn't have them for a few weeks. I was disappointed until he told me he would pull one off a new bike and ship it to me in a day or so. Fantastic service, way above and beyond expectation. I know where I will be buying my next bike, you should consider them too.

Going strong I have had my BM1 pro for 2 years now and just replaced the tyres after 5,000+ km
still looks like new with a bit of metal polish the Stirling and chrome finish in showroom condition I ride nearly every day and when commuting go to work by ferry into Sydney CBD
upgrades with leather saddle and chrome fenders looks the real deal!

Babymaker II is just amazing. I laugh at the hills now. They won't mock me anymore!
Plus...a kickstand! I haven't had a kickstand in 20 years. Beautiful platinum two tone color and very lightweight.
I highly recommend FLX for world class bikes, service and fast shipping. Fantastic value.

Constant runaround. Stay well clear of this company. Promised refund. Now wont even bother answering my emails.

I love my bandit, I love the looks of it and it rides pretty awesome, it has a lot of torque and rapid acceleration, it's a heavy bike so everything feels solid and stable. I added the headlight and tail light kit and it's perfect combo, my only suggestion is to add rear suspension, riding is a little rough, with that being said this is a solid ebike, highly recommend it.

Seriously love this ebike. I have to use this bike for my primary means of transportation. I have been secluded to a small radius of walking and riding a normal bike and now I am crossing town. In the city the only thing slowing me down is traffic and red lights.

I've had my eye on this bike for a couple years and decided it was time! Grateful to discover it was still available. I love the ride, the look, all of it. The e-assist will nudge me toward riding to work far more often than I was on my long haul trucker. My ride home is all uphill. Now, it's no problem. Stoked to be riding this sweet Babymaker II for years to come!

Ive seen some poor reviews on both the bike and the customer service. I feel for those customers because i have had nothing but a positive experience with the bike and FLX. It took a year from signing up on indigogo in March 2020 but it was understandable, considering the worldwide pandemic that hit. In the year since I received the bike, I rode just over 7000 miles, using it as a daily commuter. I absoluetly loved the experience. Never had any issues with the build quality or components of the bike, although the charger didnt die on me after about 10 months, and in addition to normal wear and tear that that kind of milage would produce, i also had a few wrecks! Bike handled them better than i did. And a replacement charger was shipped to me a few days after i emailed flx about it, quick service!

Love it ! The Babymaker 2 is great! I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a commuter e bike.

Happiness is an E Bike to Commute

I bought a Babymaker in the heights of the pandemic, and yes there were delays when ordering - but FLX were amazing at keeping people informed.

The global shortage of components has now affected every bike maker on the planet so they should not be judged on this point.

I’ve had the bike for a year now and I love it. I’ve commuted through wind, rain and shine, in darkness and in sunshine and I absolutely love this bike. The speed limiter at 15 mph is fine for commuting - it allows you to pull away at lights safely and quickly and get up hills with ease. One of the greatest benefits has been the fact that I can commute in my work clothes as I rarely get sweaty. The range is okay - it can handle about 30 km on a charge depending on how heavy you are and how many hills you have to go up - but it is quick to charge up and ready to go.

The future of urban transport is e-bike and the more people take it up - the better our cities will get.

Purchased the Gladiator 2.0 a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Absolute beast of a bike, crushes all types of terrains and hills. Phenomenal range as well. One test drive and you’ll be in love. The staff were also super friendly and helpful throughout the process.
