Generous free tier, large max file size, a great experience thus far!

Upload speed is comparatively fast. However, the larger the file, the slower the upload speed. Also if upload too many files at once, some files are skipped.
Work within the limits of this site and its a positive experience.
Look forward to SYNC function. Hopefully, it works for Windows.

Early Adopter. Dave, the owner, is very responsive and is great with customer service. I can tell he really cares. I got a lifetime deal, so I LOVE LOVE LOVE that. Excited to see what happens with the platform.

I have recently become a patron of Folder Fort - Blazing Fast Cloud Storage and am pleased to report that the service has proven to be highly reliable. Its infrastructure is both complex and secure. The user interface is exceptionally intuitive, accommodating a wide variety of file types, including both compressed and uncompressed formats. This acquisition via stacksocial.com has undoubtedly been advantageous.

I have tried again and again (at least 10 times) to upload a 9gb folder from my PC to one of the servers.
Apart from the extremely slow upload (after a whole day and night only 5gb had been uploaded) many files were not uploaded and were just marked (in red) as "upload failed" with no explanation nor means to retry. If this is not bad enough the maximum size of all the uploads was 5 GB. (At some point, the program stops or gets disconnected with some internet error displayed)ץ And just to make things clear, before each attempt I deleted the whole drive and retried upload from scratch with a full space of 1 TB.

Folder Fort offers a clean, intuitive interface. Highly recommended. Uploads are fast and sharing is a breeze.

I bought the liftime 1tb package - and regret it ever since !
uploads (small folder with 10 files 500mb - 3 gb) continoulsly get stuck and wont complete. i tried different browsers e.g. chrome, firefox, aloha,etc

different file formats (original ,zip, rar,etc) . and it just doesnt work properply unless I upload each file individually (however the file better dont be >3gb ). may be its a problem of the server i use (north america 2 ) but that cant be an excuse . bottom line is this "service" is rubbish and i have no idea how much they paid for the positive media coverage but the reality is completly different !

FolderFort has a long way to go in terms of features. But I'd still give it four stars as it works to keep a copy of your data quickly. Also I love the right click. I know many sites kept moving away due to APPLE products influence in the market. Now my immediate complaints: when we upload media files such as MOV, there is no thumbnail. No preview feature to play the video online. You are forced to download and play. Also they don't show file's actual modified date and rather in the info section of each file, it shows my upload date. FolderFort, if you are listening, please add the features as soon as you can will make the product a great success in near future... Thank you.

Trustworthy, reliable and fast

Overall very good. The only thing I really dislike is the search feature. It's slow and cumbersome and kills productivity. I also worry that if uploading something goes wrong it saves most of the data so it can continue to upload which is great!
But for how long? Are there bits and bytes floating around counting against my data cap? Other than that I'm a big fan.

So far, so good, very intuitive and easy to manage interface. All good here.

I am always hesitant to signup for "lifetime" subscriptions. So, only time will tell how long FolderFort will be able to honor that arrangement. So far, FolderFort has offered an incredible value. The service is simple but excellent and I have ZERO complaints.

I bought 2 Tb lifetime access to na2.folderfort several months ago. To my delight, the functionality that I had gotten used to with Google Drive was replicated on folderfort. I found it intuitive - and file sharing with selected people works perfectly as I expected. I have yet to encounter a performance issue, and I highly recommend this solution for anyone running out of free Google drive space.

I bought the lifetime 1TB lifetime, everthing is great so far, used the API to upload, create folders so I need to build on that and build a front end in my app. I'm going to use it as backup for files from the website.

I'm fine without the sync app but I'll give that a try later when it's available.

Very impressed with the service. Currently using this as an additional backup for photos and videos and hope to migrate fully away from Google Photos once the app is available.
Any issues I have had have been resolved promptly and courteously.
Had some issues with files failing to upload but it was my own internet connection at fault.

What is not to like, cost effective, fast and great customer service. Online chat is super helpful. Great archive capabilities, and I can't wait for the apps.
