The hand feel is fantastic. You can tell the book is meant to be read (it hold up extremely well) and strike that perfect middle ground where they aren’t so expensive you feel like you can’t even touch them, but deliver consistently exceptional quality for the price and are a joy to read.
It's ok. I'm not that crazy about the pictures but there wasn't much selection. Of course the quality is great. Here's a wish: What about a book of illuminated manuscripts???? You would do a fabulous job on that. I had a beautiful book on these, but searching to replace it hasn't turned up anything good at all. Please do this!

Received the books on timely manner beautifully illustrated beautifully made the font type is applicable for this particular story. I am looking forward to reading it in the near future.

Such a wonderful book! And a lovely Christmas gift.I love Diana Wynne Jones. Even though she wrote for kids, they are not childish books. Folio Society continues to publish beautiful well made books. Now I just need to make more room on my shelves.
Bought after reading the Moving Castle series.A different artist - but a delight that the slipcase is decorated. I also apprciate the introduction and forewards - not always included in recent releases...
