Found the course straight forward to use.

The course was broken down into modules, and you could return to it , although I just carried on straight through, it took 3.5 hours which is what it said, plus the exam.
It was concise and clear, initially very easy to set up, and the result was instant.

Full course for food hygiene cert. level 2. Found this easy to do online, as much or as little at a time. Each time I logged out, my progress was held so I could pick up again where I left off. Tests at end of each topic and final exam. Would recommend this co.

The online Food Safety course I took with this company was comprehensive and thorough. However, some of the material was repetitive, some contained information that was of little practical benefit, and one module was downright confusing. After taking the final exam you are told how many questions you got wrong - but if you’ve reached the pass mark it doesn’t allow you to go back and look at the questions to find out which you answered incorrectly. So there’s no opportunity to correct any points you might have misunderstood.

At my time of life, taking an exam worried me, but there we’re no reason, I should have been.
After the initial start, it became easier to work through.

This is the best course I have taken over my catering years. This online service is perfect. The questions and answering process was very easy, with full explanations and photos. The fact that you can go back into your Course Questionnaire as and when it was convenient for you, was the best, as you were not restricted to complete the course in one go or within a certain number of "hours" and it can be done at home, at your own pace. The course has an expiry date of 3 months, which is ample time enough to complete it and submit it. My past courses have had to be taken at a Council venue over 2 half days and was very expensive, whether it was your first time or renewal. This Food Safety UK digital version is excellent value and cost "pennies", in comparison to the 2 half day internal Council classes I had to attend. After completing the course and submitting it online, the Certificate was sent to my email address immediately. I am very pleased and I would recommend this course to anyone looking to start or renew their Food Hygiene Certification.

The candidate is able to study and progress the course at a time and pace that suits him/her.

Great for a better understanding of food safety
The course was a lot harder than I thought it would be as it covered a lot of areas and information. What made it much easier was the no pressure go at your own speed, the limitless access to the study material and the study material being explained well also the option to listen to the course was helpful to me. Passed on my first attempt but that was because I utilised all that was offered to me.

This was really helpful because it focused my mind on the key issues to do with food hygiene. I enjoyed it and found I knew most of it, but not all and also was brought to focus on some sloppy areas of my practice.

I took this course myself and then as I have 4 staff who also needed their level 2 the system allowed me to convert my account into a leader account automatically. All of my staff were enrolled and completed on the same day. I must say I am impressed with this system as the process of organising training usually causes me so much hassle yet I got it all done in a few minutes. I will definitely continue to use this company when I take on new staff as the process was so simple. Great. Thank you

I have just completed level 2 food safety and hygiene course, very easy to manage and understand ,

Not overly impressed. Fortunately paid a low price, but I'm sure some comparatively priced courses must do a better job. Littered with grammar and punctuation errors which made some sentences hard work and needed 2 or 3 read-throughs to make sense. Inconsistencies with course content and the end of module quiz questions. Got a final score for the end exam but no way of knowing which one I got wrong, and therefore no way of knowing where my knowledge gap is. Would have been improved with a Powerpoint type form of presentation instead of endless scrolling. Plus point: easy to register and complete at my leisure. You can complete at your own pace.
*edit, after reply, as unable to directly reply. Having read some other trust pilot reviews I see that the issues with grammar and punctuation have been mentioned a few times. One as far back as 2020. All are met with a similar response of ‘it’s good enough’. After two years of repeated suggestions for improvements I’m disappointed that a suitably qualified proof reader has not been asked to remedy these issues. A very easy, and inexpensive solution.
Regarding inconsistencies: For example on the reheating module, the course states reheat to over 75 degrees for 30 seconds. In the ‘check your knowledge’ quiz there was no answer available for this, the nearest one was 75 seconds for 3 minutes. Which was marked as correct. So which is it?
Feedback on incorrect answers: again, this has been mentioned in feedback several times since 2020. I’m not sure why, if you have passed, you can not provide details on the questions we answered incorrectly. It is, after all, supposed to help us keep consumers safe, and not just be a test of our knowledge. If we don’t know it, we need to know what we don’t know!
