Unethical Company

My time at Foodstars left much to be desired. The facility's cleanliness was consistently lacking, creating an unpleasant working environment. Policies seemed to be enforced selectively, serving the administration's interests rather than maintaining fairness.

The absence of air conditioning in a kitchen without windows, particularly when temperatures soared to 30°C, made it difficult to work effectively and comfortably. The ongoing roof leak, ignored by administration, posed both safety hazards and discomfort to those working in the space.

The revolving door of businesses at Foodstars, including the departure of major tenants like Burger King, speaks volumes about the financial impracticality of operating there. Despite promises of providing all necessary resources for starting a business, the reality fell short for many.

Furthermore, the administration's reputation for lacking ethics within the Foodstars community raises serious concerns about trust and integrity.

In conclusion, my experience at Foodstars was marked by subpar conditions, questionable practices, and a lack of long-term viability. I would advise others to approach with caution before considering it as a location for their business ventures.

ITS A SCAM COMPANY!

ITS A SCAM COMPANY!

I feel compelled to share my horrific experience with Foodstar, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others. I am a victim customer of this scam company, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid renting their kitchens at all costs. Trust me, you do not want to get involved with Foodstar.

First, they charge an absurdly high amount of rent. I rented a small kitchen, and they slapped me with an outrageous fee of £3000, including numerous hidden fees that they conveniently failed to mention upfront. To make matters worse, they never provide any receipts or proof for these charges, leaving you in the dark about why and how they are bleeding you dry.

What's even more infuriating is the lack of transparency and customer service. I have been waiting for my deposit refund for almost six months now. Despite my daily attempts to reach out through emails and calls, they consistently ignore my inquiries. It's beyond frustrating.
The services they offer are minimal at best. Most importantly, they are notorious for overpricing rent and springing surprise fees on unsuspecting renters. They deducted a whopping £2000 from my deposit for a so-called "cleaning fee" when I had meticulously cleaned the entire space for two days before leaving. It's a blatant scam, and they take advantage of people who trust them.

Don't fall for their claims about having prestigious brands using their kitchens. In reality, their facilities are mostly empty, with only a handful of kitchens out of 27 actually operating. Their sales and support team will feed you lies about occupancy to lure you in, but trust me, it's all smoke and mirrors.

In conclusion, Foodstar is not trustworthy. They are professional scammers, and you won't outsmart them. Save yourself the headache and find alternative kitchens to rent. Do not make the mistake of getting involved with Foodstar unless you want to be scammed and treated with utter disregard.

Do not rent from this company

Do not rent from this company. I was wrong decision indeed. They charged everything a lot and they dont care. They charged for gas technicians £200. They charged for common space electric divide by 23 rooms but their staff room not included it. It not fair. I rent the kitchen i should pay only in the kitchen I use. The common space they should provide us as a service. So that’s why kitchen mostly empty and people was leaving after stay not long. Also Sale person all lie about info they make up sale very high that it impossible when I realized after nearly 3 months. Normally i was checked review first but this time it big mistake that i forgot to check it before signing.

Stay Well Clear of these unprofessional thieves! - We have 15 years experience operating food businesses, Listen to us!

We are an extremely experienced retailer and have found these guys to be absolutely unprofessional and lack of communications internally. I would advise any small business tempted to trade from a delivery only hub location like this to stay well clear of these guys. I can recommend some other companies that are more professional.
These guys are slow to reply, not keen to onboard you but just after your money. Very defensive, they can't seem to accept their faults instead find ways to blame mishaps on you. It seems like there are similar experiences of other reviews we have read about them. We still thought we'll go ahead and see for ourselves turns out it true so please take this advice to save yourself trouble. My experience in the food industry goes far, I have sat on Just eat research and advice panel in the past. All the other positive reviews I'm not convinced they are real. Will post with update how matters progress further.

DO NOT RENT A KITCHEN FROM THEM

DO NOT RENT A KITCHEN FROM THEM
I should have ask Why everyone is leaving and they have so many kitchen spaces available.
total waste of money And time.
I have a small business and signing with foodstar is being a huge mistake!
Without mentioning Otter which is even worst. Lack of professionalism from operators that are meant to help you but they don't actually care
Do not believe at false promises from sales, all promises just to get you to sign (including profit and loss spreadsheets with misleading figures of potential earnings and expanses)the onboarding process is very nice but do not trust them.
Bills are very high!! Only for "shared communal spaces" are over £300 EVEN WHEN NOT USING THE Kitchen SPACE

Wrong invoices, and when you try to get a credit note or getting the charge cancelled, they argue with you making you feel you are wrong. Days and time wasted.
And obviously they do not mention this before at the beginning.
The "all love we are a big family we here to help you" is just to get the sale and money from small businesses and first time owners
Operational fees of £150 plus £99 of Operating expanses (which is guy taking the bag and keeping it hot till the driver arrives) plus obviously VERY HIGH "SHARED COMMUNAL BILLS OF THE BUILDING "
Changed their invoicing method and I am basically pay over 3k in May.
I would give zero star
Dishonest company their fakeness is unbelievable.
If anyone needs more info I can provide more details
