Totally absorbing,brilliant customer service,lots of freebies,tons of help from other users.I can't see anyone ever coming up with a better platform for football fans the ultimate mix of entering teams in the many tournaments every day for good cash prizes and trading players can for a healthy return too.

I’ve found Footstock the perfect mix of gambling and Fantasy football. Most importantly, it is fun.

The community is very helpful and open to discussion via a dedicated slack channel.

The management actively engage with the user base and take ideas on board.

There has been price fluctuations, as to be expected. This isn’t a platform where you put money in and expect to passively get rich. However, with some football knowledge and smoke time, the opportunity to win is great.

I’d highly recommend this, just be aware it’s primarily a FF platform with the opportunity to win big, not a ‘trading’ platform, although good trading opportunities exist.

its a fun concept but unfortunately there are too many problems at the moment to make it an enjoyable experience

for starters they allow multiple entries into all the "tournaments" this means someone with a large bank roll can stick up 5 teams with about 55 players into a tournament where as someone on a budget would be using 1 team with 11 players

i mean you don't need a degree in quantum mathematics to work out the odds aren't really in your favour

to add to this issue theres a clique of early adopters who have hundreds of thousands of cards bought at pennies and sure enough these tend to persistently dominate tournament leaderboard for the cash prizes and are extremely reluctant to see any changes in the platform that may effect their edge

this brings me onto the "no sub" rule for some unknown reason unlike fantasy football footstock doesn't allow any type of sub incase of unexpected injury or whatever that means once you've entered your team its locked if a player doesn't come on then you don't get any points and your entry fee is down the drain

the tournaments worth winning aren't cheap either some cost up to £30 to enter they run the occasional free one but only for 200 quid so even if you beat the other 1200 entrants you will only win about £20

you can forget about your collection gaining value either all cards can be supplied in infinite numbers by footstock

all in all the concepts good but implementation looks like its been difficult, i honestly cannot see how they are going to be able to maintain the balancing act of attracting new users , keeping old users happy , managing tournament manipulation and keeping card volumes in check

its an absolute monumental task when you think about it and as a result i believe this will refrain footstock to making it into mainstream gambling/ hybrid entertainment its just all far too complicated

I was recommended to try Footstock by a friend. I’ve been on it since May and find it really enjoyable. I started off slowly but am building my collection up weekly and have a strong enough line up to compete most matches. Loving the virtuals that they run when football is on a break.

I’ve been on Footstock since August 2019 and I believe it to be one of the most innovative and enjoyable gambling platforms available. For anyone that enjoys fantasy football or daily fantasy sports and/or trading then I highly recommend it. The company is still early on in its journey but the growth to date has been impressive and the opportunities for future growth are huge. The founders and management of Footstock are a key reason why have a lot of faith in the platform. Not only have they created an innovative and engaging product but the improvements and enhancements that are continually made (at speed) give me confidence that the product will continue to grow and improve. They are responsive to their users and respond to all feedback, openly admit when things need to improve/change and seem to achieve a great balance of creating a sustainable product/business and promotions/offers for their users to encourage use and growth. I’ve read some reviews claiming that the barriers to entry are high but this couldn’t be further from the truth – there are options for all budgets, including free competitions and I believe that it’s easier to achieve a high percentage return on Footstock for smaller budgets than it is in some of the other alternative betting platforms. The community of traders on the platform is also great and supportive and a solid loyal base of traders has been achieved in a short space of time. The marketing spend and plans from Footstock are also impressive and should enable continued fast growth and I’m excited to see where the platform can grow to in the coming months and years.

I've been on Footstock for 6 months and I'm currently £1250 down after a £4,000 investment. There is far too much volatility for my liking. I have found the virtual competitions to be very poor and although they are virtual, they are not even close to the real world. You need a lot of cash to be successful on this platform, the barriers to entry are very high. Stick to fantasy football.

I've been on the platform since May and I have loved every minute of it. It's great fun.
There are so many different aspects to it but most appealing to me are the commission free market for trading as well as rake free tournaments almost every day for the chance of winning big prizes using your football knowledge.
I've met great people in the slack community who are always very helpful.
The guys running it really listen to the community and have made so many positive changes to the platform in my time there. Can't believe it's only been going less than 18 months for how far it has come. Feel lucky to be part of it.

There are also roulette games in which you can risk your player cards to win other cards.
You can take part in Virtual Games and there are stat sights such as Trading Scout that provide you with great info for picking teams for Virtual Games.

If your thinking of joining this platform, then I can't recommend it enough.

I've been on Footstock for nearly 3 months and I've been very disappointed with the platform. I'm a full time gambler who uses Betfair, Sporting Index, Football Index as well as Sorare - so I have a reasonably informed view. Footstock, by some distance, is the worst platform.

I have invested £5000 and I'm currently down 20%. This platform is very volatile where you can lose a lot of money very quickly.

The users who win the prizes always seem to be the same users who have the large accounts. A number of them have appear to have inside information, especially for the virtual tournaments. There always seems to be a lot of freak results which a reasonable person couldn't predict - but the big accounts seem to be able to. Very strange indeed.

The platform's success relies on new users entering roulette, joining tournaments they will not be competitive in and buying overpriced packs. Basically new users are seen as cash cows and tend to be manipulated.

The online community isn't very helpful and is very biased. You don't tend to get honest and sincere advice.This is predominantly because a lot of them are affiliates - and they receive money through getting people to sign up and buy packs. They want new users to spend money so they can benefit; therefore a lot of self interest is involved. Beware of them!

Be very careful reading other reviews on here as well. A lot of those putting 5 stars will benefit from new users joining the platform. Indeed I've seen various Footstock affiliates ask current users to write Trustpilot reviews just to get people to join.

UPDATED: On 5 Oct Footstock tried to ban this review because I gave it 1 star and they "didn't believe I was a genuine customer." I have since proved that I am a genuine customer. I wonder if Footstock have called into question the other reviews that have awarded them 5 stars. It's very interesting that they tried to silence me and paints a picture of them as a business. Draw your own conclusions.

If your a Fantasy football fan then this is a must. Trade and play in tournaments and mini games and have a great time. Also has excellent customer service and a fantastic community

Great platform, offers player trading, fantasy football team building and top trumps style games. Tournaments offer great returns and the player cards are owned for life! If a player leaves the league, you have the ability to swap for another card.

Joined a few months ago during Covid so not the best time to do these things. However it’s been amazing, the product grows and adapts so quickly. The owners of the company engage with customers direct so it feels like investing in a startup.

It’s reasonably simple fantasy football for cash prizes. Also you can use your knowledge to buy and sell cards which can be even more fun than the tournaments. Couldnt recommend enough, they have a great deal through whoscored.com so you can try for free.

The best football platform I’ve been on with brilliant customer service. Made 100% ROI in first 6 months and just keeps getting better and better. £100k freeroll for next season already been announced and this is just the beginning.
