Like so many others, I was scammed. I ordered fiddlehead fern and never received my order. The vendor Marque Green and Foraged was unresponsive to communications.

Don't buy from Foraged! If one of their vendors takes your money (Wanderlust Flora & Fungi), but then doesn't provide you with the items you purchased, you have no recourse to get a refund. If the are going to give a platform for small businesses to sell their products, which I'm sure they get a percentage of, they should also hold those vendors accountable for unjust business practices.

I ordered 2 lbs of mushrooms. I received the mushrooms from another company in Oregon. I paid for next day air postage. I spent almost 160.00. They didn't hesitate to charge my credit card. I received my product 3 days later. 2.26 lbs of crumbs. Then I have no way to contact them. The web site said they were on vacation.

I ordered Dried Aronia Berries, the price in item description
was $16.50 per 1 lb. The order description was confusing:
0.32 lb, 4 oz., or no amount at all.
I confirmed with the vendor, Sustainable Sorcerers, that it was 4 oz., not 1 lb,
so it turned out that the price was 4 times more than in description .
I asked vendor, and the FORAGED site, to cancel my order.
Site did not respond at all, vendor came up with lame excuses,
refused to cancel my order and sent his very overpriced berries to me.
Berries I received were of low quality, old and tasteless.
I had much better quality berries from other sources.
They quietly fixed the price in item description after my complaint.
I got no apologies, no money back and overpriced lousy berries that I have no use for.
My experience with FORAGED site is similar to negative reviews of this business here on trustpilot.
I should have read reviews here first before ordering from FORAGED.
And positive reviews here are too long and too exaggerated. I suspect they are fabricated, not honest.

Absolutely terrible experience with one of their vendors, Grandfather Medicinals. I ordered an item weeks before Christmas that was supposed to be an overnight delivery, which I was certainly charged enough for. It just never shipped. I was never contacted by them with any information, and only when I reached out to them did I get any contact, which was them just saying sorry it will ship the following day, which it never did. I realize that this was one vendor, but Foraged actually takes zero responsibility and doesn't give you any way to complain to them about their vendor. As far as I can tell, this is a scam. Don't buy anything from this vendor.

I posted the below review back in February 2022 but it no longer appears here. Trustpilot is pretty sketchy to be honest. But I still love Foraged so I wanted to post it again to help them out:

There's no zero stars so they get 1 for nothing. I signed up for a membership to save on shipping for an item I never ordered after I found out that the shipping was $70. Ive tried to cancel the membership after I was double charged and the cancel button doesn't actually work. I have contacted the owner Andy Connor several times and I only get an auto reply saying he is out of town. How convenient. I will be filing with my bank. Contact farmers directly to place orders!

It's a scam website. The shipping costs are 4 times the product cost and 400% of what the actual shipping costs would be. They use fake prices to get people to click on their website and then hope people don't notice the criminal shipping costs they have when they check out.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Foraged. I ordered a batch of fresh morel mushrooms from a vendor based in Idaho — they arrived in beautiful condition, packaged carefully and with a handwritten note from the forager. You can tell they truly care about the quality and story behind what they sell.

I placed a second order right away. A few days after I ordered, though, I did have a small concern about shipping timing for a second order (I wanted to make sure they’d arrive fresh for a special dinner). I reached out directly to the vendor through Foraged’s built-in messaging, and they responded within an hour! Not only did they reassure me, but they even offered tips on how to store the mushrooms once they arrived.

Foraged really emphasizes communication with the vendors, and thankfully they make it easy to do so — you can always reach the vendor, and there’s a real sense of trust knowing your money supports small, independent producers. I’ve shopped online for specialty foods before, but nothing comes close to this level of transparency and connection with the people who grow and forage your food.

Highly recommend Foraged to anyone who wants ingredients you’d never find at a grocery store, and wants to feel good about every dollar spent. I’ll absolutely be ordering again!

Total scam operation - Don't buy from these people. I ordered some morel mushrooms and they arrived rotten. I contacted the supplier and they said they would send replacements and never did and stopped responding to my messages.

The worst part is that Foraged.com has no email, phone number, or any other way to reach any Customer Support. A very sleazy operation.

I ordered pawpaws through a Foraged vendor. Expensive at $31/lb., so I had reasonable expectation of decent product. First 2 pound order was OK, a couple of tiny fruit mixed in (and one large one) that never ripened. Second order of 3 pounds actually weighed 2.55 pounds once unpacked, and rather than pear-size fruit --- with the exception of a single large pawpaw --- the remaining fruit received was rock hard and uniformly the size of ping pong balls. lol...I was today years old when I learned seasonality and the region pawpaws are sourced from play determinant roles in the size and quality of this delicious fruit. In any case, a big thank you to Andy Conner of Foraged, as he stepped in and put the situation right ; gracious, reassuring, and happy basis to continue patronizing Foraged.

Can't recommend Foraged enough -- for both professional chefs and everyday food lovers. Game changer.

title says it all. I can finally purchase morel mushrooms online! and tons of other foods impossible to find anywhere else. and, the small startup team is a delight to work with. They answered all my questions immediately and made me feel comfortable ordering these rare foods online.
