I do not recommend to deal with this car dealer and BMW cars in general. Forenadebil car center looks fancy and customer friendly, till you have a real problem with the car. Here you are my experience: I bough car 1 year old premium selection, own it 2 years and car failure more then 5 times. Around 4 weeks in garage for repair in total. Car ruin 2 vacation trips. Unfortunately the dealer didn’t manage to find the issue from the first time and I had same problem during 2 years appearing from time to time. Nobody listen problem description from you, they fully relay on computer diagnostic. I had check engine indicator light on in the car, but the logs provided by car key didn’t show it, so I spend 50 minutes trying to convince the Forenadebil to check the car. Only when I request official document from Forenadebil that I can drive the car with Check engine indicator «on», my car was taken for diagnostic and spend 3 weeks in repair after.
If the mistake shown by the car computer disappeared before you came to service, nothing will be done. Car should be completely broken and evacuated, only in this case Forenadebil can act and search for the solution. I had more then 15 times the same mistake on the car display and car went to safe mode (you can drive 40 km/h max, acceleration super slow). I drove the car to Forenadebil service center, but after restart of the engine mistake have disappeared from the car screen, I asked anyway for diagnostic. They found mistakes in logs, but no actions was done from Forenadebil car service, as mistakes are not active. They asked me to drive more till the mistake will be more serious and will be active and charged me for diagnostic 1600 SEK and this is after all my complains and visits for repair. From my perspective that is unacceptable attitude to customer.
There is no proactive actions to protect the customer from bad experience with the car. I had 2 parts in the car which were officially on the recall from BMW, Forenadebil has change it only when those parts failed, so no proactive change. They just wait while my car stopped and I will contact them myself.
At the end of my journey I send my complains about the repair, service, attitude to VD of the Forenadebil with full description of my adventures. After that the car was repaired. I was hoping to return the car, but did not succeed.
Your car is now repaired - enjoy.
My personal conclusion that customer is not in focus in this company at all even on the management level. Im super happy that my journey with Forenadebil is finished. When I was reading all the negative reviews on Forenadebil, I though it will not happen to me, so I was wrong. That is something to think about before make a final choice of the car seller.
