I have tried to contact For-Runners-By-Runners for almost a year now (via phone calls, e-mails and submitted messages on the company's website). I have never received any response for months and my order was not received.
The first ever response I received from For-Runners-By-Runners was they reported this post to Trustpilot as defamation and violation. Fair to say For-Runners-By-Runners does not care whether your order has been completed or not.
Most of the 1-star reviews are provided with tracker ID and details to demonstrate genuine ordering and payment, while the 5-star reviews have no ID or delivery tracker. For new buyers and trustpilot, you can simply try to call their company number to see if they pick up.
My order ID is ID25243 which was in July 2019. The company item tracker stated the delivery has been completed and I have paid in full, but the delivery has never reached me. Accordingly to the delivery agent, the sender wrote an incorrect address on the parcel as compared to my invoice I have given them. So the parcel was returned to the sender.
After 11 months of waiting and no response, I would like a full refund of my purchase that I never received. I am very very disappointed with the service.

Revised rating as to be fair the refund was sorted out ASAP.
Ordered shoes on 20th May 2020. Order status just says approved for process! No dispatch information, have called (left voicemail), emailed, used their website contact form asking for the order to be cancelled and a full refund but no reply!
This length of time for an order to be dispatched is not good enough, even with Covid issues other companies are managing to deliver on time so why not For Runners by Runners? My order ID is ID28777, I hope you can resolve the refund issue as soon as possible to gain some credit!

Placed an order on the 10th of May, trainers were not available until 27th so was happy to wait, paid an extra charge for DPD 48. I understand that during this climate DPD might not be able to achieve said timing, but what isn't acceptable is the lack of communication by forrunnersbyrunners. Has this order been dispatched, can I get a tracking code, can I speak to someone regarding this information, can you respond to my email? Unfortunately the answer to all the above questions is no. Their customer service is terrible, people are spending money, you are happy to accept the money, at least keep your customers updated.
I will give this company 48 hours to get in touch with me using the ID ref but failing that I'll be reporting them to trading standards for fraudulent activity.

Update May 28:
Just received an email saying I have been refunded. No explanation or apology was given. I’m sorry but 18 days to realise an order can’t be filled after accepting payment and no communication is just not ok. Extremely disappointing. My recommendation if you are going to pursue a purchase with this site is to do so through PayPal as it seems there’s a 50% chance of something going wrong (from my experience and inline with the reviews below).
My order ( ID28474 ) went through on the 10th of May.
I’ve been quite patient in waiting for replies to my email and Facebook messages but I haven’t heard anything for at least two weeks.
I understand that things are running a bit slower given the current climate, but it’s very unnerving when you’ve paid for something and you have had no update what so ever. I’m lucky because I know I can always make a claim through PayPal if need be. But I keep holding out, because boy oh boy, I would really like my rain jacket :(
Perhaps they are flat out processing orders and don’t have the capacity to do all the front of house updating/communications bits and pieces, and maybe my order is on its way. I hope that this is the case but unfortunately I don’t know that if it is or not.

Chose for runners by runners as they
were the best reviews of a small selection of online retailers for the product i wanted. I could tell it seemed hit or miss and we were more of a miss unfortunately. The annoying thing is that the problem was totally avoidable in the lack of communication.
Ordered a polar h10 heart rate monitor on the 1st of May and after chasing it up via phone on the 7th it rang out and went to voicemail so I proceeded to email. No reply. I then left a voicemail following day with a number to contact me back on and absolutely nothing. No tracking number just said order approved. I then messaged their Facebook page and again absolutely nothing.
I resulted in calling PayPal to put in a case with a view to cancelling the order on around the 13th May and low and behold it turns up the following day and in the process someone had liaised with PayPal to give their version which shows someone somewhere is readily available to communicate when it concerns not getting their money. Just a massive shame it isn't with the customer. And for that they've lost repeat business from me. Shame for the sake of an email back or a phone call to at least let me know they care. If its a delay due to Corona or whatever fine but have the decency to let the me know. 2 stars as the item arrived.

UPDATE: Then why not comment on everyone's review history who leaves you a 1 star review? You say you 'couldn't help' but notice mine, but clicking on the random profiles of other people also reveals that people join just to leave a negative review of your company, or a few companies. Therefore, it seems kind of odd you focus on my history, particularly when I have given a mix of 3/4/5 star reviews as well as 1 star reviews for poor experiences.
UPDATE: Since you took the time to look at my review history, you will notice there are plenty of 5 star reviews. And those 1 star reviews fit with the overwhelming trend of other reviewers - as in the case of your own company! On that note, I would point out it's hilarious that a company who have 42% 1 star reviews on here, and 56% 1 star reviews on Google comments on MY history. I also wonder why they haven't responded to any of their other 1 star reviews, in such a manner. There are plenty worse reviews than mine, those that are calling this company a scam, for example, calling them thieves...all I did was point out that I can't track my item as they told me in the email I could.

So I have no trainers, no way to track the item, and the money has gone from my account. Several reviews I've noticed say the same thing... Happy to accept the return they say. Well I'd actually have to have received the item in order to return it.
UPDATE: See response below. That just about sums this company up. Rude, dismissive, unhelpful. Oh and no, the item was not despatched on 11th May. I wouldn't be leaving a 1 star review on 12th if that were the case. Order ID is: 28407 (since they were clearly appalled I didn't include it in my original post). I had an email confirming it was despatched on 8th May. Unless what they are now saying is that it wasn't despatched then. Regardless, none of that explains the tracking issues. And they take the high ground in their response as if they have an excellent rating on here, rather than 2.9, with 42% 1 star reviews.
The only website I could find the running shoes I wanted was this one, hence I took the risk of ignoring the reviews on here and ordering from them.
I understand that things take longer to arrive at the moment, that's not my issue. My issue is that they send you an email with a tracking link, but the tracking 'number' they provide is apparently just a shipment reference. So it's not actually a tracking number at all. So then why provide a tracking link, where they specifically say you can track your order? Oh and trying to ask them to explain this (or to provide a valid tracking number!), is fruitless. They argue back and forth with you, making out that you're in the wrong for wanting to be able to track your oder. Now I'm in a position where an item was apparently despatched back on 8th May, but I've no idea where it is (it should've arrived by now) as I can't track it!

My original review was only one star and not very complimentary after failing to get a response from Forrunnersbyrunners over an order that had not been dispatched. As they said in their response below, they held their hands up to it. Since then they've sent me a free sample of the product that I originally ordered without being asked even though I cancelled the original order. I feel that Forrunnersbyrunners have tried hard to remedy this situation and for that reason I've rewritten my review.
