Dear Bettina,

Thank you for your feedback, although I regret that you were not satisfied with the course.

I have already been in touch with your manager and addressed the issues you raised. Although opt-out was not on the final agenda, the speakers have nevertheless included it in the course at short notice in order to satisfy attendees' wishes. I have offered to organise a short follow-up meeting to clarify open questions on opt-out, but that was declined. Unfortunately, that leaves the speakers and me without the possibility to make up for the contents you were missing.

In any case, I will address the other issues you raised with the speakers and shall revert to your manager with further options.

Thank you for your feedback.

We are happy to briefly outline our national and international communication strategy for you. We try to address our customers as personally as possible. Hence, when we are not in one of the German-speaking countries (DACH), we mainly communicate with participants in English, especially since such training events are also conducted in English. This also applies to events held in Germany and conducted in English. We usually communicate with German companies and their employees in German.

In your particular case, since your company is located in Germany and the in-house seminar was also conducted in German, there was no way we could have foreseen that communicating in German would be a source of difficulty. Indeed, since your company itself requested German, we will continue communicating in German. However, we will also happy to address you personally in English.

Thank you very much for your evaluation of the event!

Due to our quality criteria, we attach great importance to our participants’ feedback, especially since this helps us improve the quality of our events. Hence, we have taken your criticism very seriously and regret that the seminar did not meet your expectations.

Although we have been holding this seminar for several years now, we have never received such criticism. I have discussed this with the speakers and come to the conclusion that it was partly due to the number of topics covered that we lacked the time to go into the usual depth. However, this issue did not arise at the seminar on R & D contracts you attended the day before, which included the same speakers.

The next time we will hold this seminar, we will ensure that there are fewer topics to be covered in order to address them in depth. We also have a new speaker, Alfred Chaouat, Senior Vice-President Licensing, Technicolor, who is also very experienced.

I would be pleased if, on another occasion, we were to have the opportunity to prove the quality of our events and their relevance to you in practice. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me; I would be glad to hear from you.
