Our Uncle sadly passed away just before Christmas so my family needed to navigate funeral arrangements over Christmas/New Year and into January whilst also living further away. Marie made the whole process very easy from start to finish. Her communication, organisation, attention and empathy could not be faulted. Marie made all the organisation very personal to our family, including her recommedation for the Celebrant at the crematorium. Despite the very sad circumstances I don't think our Uncle's funeral could have been more perfect and I think he would have been very happy with his send off! With the pain of suddenly losing our dad, we were all lost and didn't know where to begin. Fosters were a name that was recognised from a previous funeral, so we called them... Wow what a service from Jess and the team! Immediately comforting, gave all the time and support we needed to allow us to plan a funeral that really summed up dad. Listened, suggested, never pushy, no sales, just compassion, understanding and empathy. We actually ended up with something so much better that we had even thought of, much more dad and a real celebration of life. Their way of working made us think we were planning everything but in reality all the hard work was done behind the scenes by Fosters. Much as price was never the main focus, the price was remarkably good too. So a genuine combination of above and beyond service combined with excellent value. Phone calls from Jess to keep abreast of plans also were a source of comfort and support, offering additional help with coming to terms with the loss. Sorted out the most wonderful celebrant in Susan Paul. Wished somehow that we didn't need such a loss to be able to appreciate the wonderful service from Fosters, hope not to have to use them again for many years, but when the time comes we know exactly who to speak to... Thank you to Jess and Fosters Perth for such an outstanding service.

From the moment of walking through the door not knowing how to arrange a funeral we were met by the lovely lynne who talked us thro everything, we were put at ease knowing my dad was in safe hands. There was none of the usual trying to charge for an extravagant cremation it was simple sailing from start to finish, she even delivered the flowers to our front door afterwards, I would & will be using there services for every other funeral/cremation that we need again. I trusted my instincts & they were the best. Thankyou lynne for all your work & kindness

I can write that Lynn Turner is an Angel without wings.She is kind.good,charismatic and puts a lot of love into the work process.However,the people she works with are sad and very confufesed after losing a loved one! She is the best!

Having to arrange a funeral recently for the first time my sister, nephew and I used Fosters. My mum and step dad unfortunately had to pre arrange my step dad’s funeral after a terminal cancer diagnosis in 2025. They used Fosters in Livingston and thats where we met the lovely Isla. From the day my mum went in to put the last wee bits in place to the day of my step dads funeral Isla showed so much care & compassion towards our family & towards Graham. She is an absolute credit to fosters & anyone who gets to meet Isla and have her help you arrange you’re loved ones final good bye, you will be well taken care off.

The compassion, professionalism and kindness shown by staff. The stress of making funeral arrangements was lifted from me which was a great relief. The whole process was so smooth and everything was taken care of by the lovely staff, couldn't have been improved on.

Having to go through the process of planning a funeral for the first time was so daunting. We chose Fosters Funeral Directors without knowing much about them and this happened to be the best decision we could have made.
Right from the first phone call to the last email, Isla and the team from the Livingston branch were extremely professional, compassionate, understanding and very patient with us as a family.
Nothing was a hassle for them and they genuinely made the whole process easier than had been expected. I honestly can't stress how professional they were and how much they helped us and were there for us. Isla and the team helped make what was such a devastating time for our family easier to cope with and get through and we can't thank them or recommend them enough.

Jess in Perth was excelent every thing sorted no problem and the day was just perfect. Highly recommend.

I cannot thank Lynne at Fosters Funeral Services enough for the care, kindness and quiet professionalism she showed me when arranging my husband Julian’s cremation. I was absolutely dreading having to go in and make the arrangements, particularly as I have no other family members to lean on, but Lynne immediately put me at ease.

She was compassionate without being overbearing, clear without being cold, and guided me through everything with patience and understanding at a time when my brain was barely functioning. She made an extremely difficult task feel manageable, and that meant more to me than she will probably ever know.

I have no hesitation at all in recommending Lynne and Fosters Funeral Services. When you most need humanity as well as competence, they deliver both.

Once again we chose Fosters at Stirling, and Angela Harrower at this branch is the best! She goes over and above for the family, and makes sure everything is in order from start to finish, always sending updates & making it as stress free as possible for the family. I knew I was in safe hands from the first planning meeting with Lynne at Dunfermline’s Fosters. Her industry experience inspires trust and confidence, and she instinctively helped my family to make the right choices for my father-in-law, George. Lynne’s communications were warm and timely, which helped put my wider family at ease. Importantly, Lynne gave us the precious time we needed to sit with George whilst at rest and, our celebrant and funeral management team delivered a service which received high praise from our family and friends.

I would highly recommend Fosters. Isla at Livingston was helpful, considerate and compassionate at all stages of organizing my partners final journey. She checked in and ensured everything was ok. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner throughout and made a difficult time that little bit smoother.
