Lovely tea.. but..
Lovely tea; terrible bags they keep it in. Of the x 4 samples, x 2 of them split. Managed to salvage by using my filter - but not ideal, especially at price point.

Hi Carl - thanks for flagging this. The tea bags we use are 100% cornstarch and fully compostable, plastic free. You could actually eat them if you so wished (probably be a bit chewy though). We have found that the tags can get stuck to the bags if they are at all damp or have been anywhere humid. Bit of a problem. I think I'll pop a little note in each box to say to be gentle teasing the tea tags off the bags when you open. Meanwhile I'll get another sample box out to you. Sorry for the problem. Jem

Fair play Lee. And who doesn't love a Lidl bargain? Especially the centre aisles. I went in for potatoes once, came out with a Yamaha keyboard and a set of knitting needles. One thing I would say is that the sample box you had two teas that had caffeine in so wouldn't have been sleep inducing. CBD has a cumulative effect so if you are using our night-time sleepy tea bags, Tanquilitea, over the course of two weeks then I think you would really have felt the benefit. The sample boxes are really to get a taste of the flavours. Anyway, glad you thought they were OK.

First off 5 stars for everything except…
First off 5 stars for everything except my small issue. Highly recommend, will use again etc, just read review for full explanation of 4 stars wish I could give 4.5. Great customer service. However there was a problem with stock so one star loss for delay. As the website either didn't say out of stock or had no other way of knowing if it was in stock I may have ordered elsewhere. Im glad that I didn't but maybe that needs addressing? Other than that I was written a lovely email explaining about the delay and reassured of a new date which stock would arrive. I was happy with this although the delay was over a week. Tea arrived and is delicious and would highly recommend it. I also missed a discount because I was a new customer I was offered 10% off, however they were having a January sale of 15% off but my discount of new customer over rode that and I missed out on an additional 5% off. No big deal! They sent me an additional free teabag of what would've been a different flavour if I hadn't ordered all the flavours which is a lovely gesture. Great company, good communication, would highly recommend them. Like I say the 1 star reduction is only due to the delay. how they handled the delay was however excellent.
