Shady business practice meets…
Shady business practice meets outsourced customer service.
Ordered a sofa in january of 2025, delivery was delayed by 6 months, requested a refund or rather a cancellation of contract due to the company breeching their part of the agreement. The customer service by this dutch company turned out to be a romanian service agency using google translate for communication kept citing the same paragraph from their customer agreement over and over again without taking into account any curcumstantial evidence. After escalating to the european consumer centres network and officially filing a complaint while also threatening legal action the so called customer support still ignored any and all emails sent.
After paying over 2000€ in ADVANCE I was sure I will never see a sofa or my money again but then after almost a year the shipping team contacted me to inform me of the delivery being imminent and when I could accept even though I explicitely told them beforehand I do not want the sofa delivered anymore and want my money back. The sofa was promptly delivered by this poor fellow who had to transport it all by himself ( I helped him of course) and he is the only reason I accepted the sofa and am willing to give this whole transaction one star.
DO NOT ORDER AT THIS SHOP if money means anything to you. Another thing they did and still do is, their website is actually hidden as well as the receiver when doing the transaction. I tried to get my bank to identify the recipient when I paid but neither me nor my bank were able to conclusively identify a recipient, on the transaction the recipient field is just blank which also points to a shady website. When you want to read the "AGB" in germany it just transfers you to a completely different website altogether which has nothing to do with the shop.
I am still baffled by the fact that I actually received a sofa although one year later.
