Good service Useful tool when needing to plan a budget if buying equipment to b moved/hauled safely

I contacted FR8star because I was bidding on a tractor at Auctiontime.com and wanted to have the delivery lined up as quickly and cleanly as possible. I won the bidding and set in motion the p/u delivery for the next day after payment was confirmed. The assigned broker thru FR8star agreed to full payment upon confirmed p/u thru credit card transaction thru a secure site on line ( I did not do phone pay or PayPal as they wanted). Was assured that p/u would be 3-6 days and delivery 1-3 days later. Many more conversations later with BOTH parties and nine days, the dispatcher for the p/u broker calls and says that on the way to p/u at 3 pm the Friday before a holiday weekend, the driver's transmission blewout. I cancelled the P/U under threat that I will be liable for the cancellation. The Monday following this the mgr. for the transport broker was sending me a contract for P/U allowing another 3-6 days for P/U. I refused the offer. Wednesday morning I contacted a local dispatch agent and had my tractor unloading at my location by Thursday afternoon. Forget these guys, local haulers have more contacts and are more responsive.

They found us several quotes right away so we could decide if we wanted to buy anything at the auction. Great service and much appreciated

WOW, a company that ACTUALLY does what they say they can do. Monday morning I gave them the job, Tuesday morning they picked up my Skidsteer, Wed morning after 650 miles I received it. Rose Borer was my agent and she kept me informed throughout the entire process with numerous emails/text messages. I cannot be happier with the shipping process. Rose, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Tractor cab was delivered in good shape. It was well secured.

Everything went smoothly. Paid for the equipment at 10am, the equipment was picked up at 3:30 and I had the equipment by 9pm the same day. I was truly surprised with the speed and efficiency of the service.

First time user and my shipment was handled very professionally from Quote to delivery. Would most definitely use them for my next shipment. Joe was most helpful through the entire process.

Never again. Fr8star has cost me money for the last time. They are intentionally inaccurate and misleading. They do not stand behind any of their own information or take responsibility to screen any of the brokers they use. Do not be fooled. They are a broker to the broker and have very little knowledge over what is being transported.

The delivery guy did a great job communicating with me on where he was going and when to expect the delivery to be made ,,he was very helpful to unload was very professional ,,
