Nightmare refund process - which I never got
Such a difficult company to get a refund from if you don’t like what you’ve bought.
Sorry for the long block of text below, but just so you can understand how tricky she made it to get a refund - which I never received because after 7 unsolicited phone calls from her, I’ve given up and put it down to a bad experience. In one breath she’s asking me to email, the next breath, she wants to talk to me and is asking me to call her.
I initially emailed the company to inform them
I needed to return an item and was told that unfortunately I was out of time.
I queried it and received 2 voicemails saying it had to be BACK WITH THEM within the 14 days (absolutely out of our control as buyers because the postal service can be diabolical sometimes and take forever) - it doesn’t say this on their website, just that it has to be returned within 14 days; I feel the website needs to be more specific.
I received the parcel on 24/11, and it was posted back on 6/12 which is 13 days. I posted it next day delivery. It was returned back to me accidentally by Royal Mail and when I told seller I would return it again, at more expense to me, she said it was too late as it was now out of time.
What should have been a simple return was made extremely difficult by the seller from the start, even when I was still within the returns timeframe. No apology from her initially that she was incorrect, when I wrote each day down so she could see I was right. So many messages going back and forth between us, it was infuriating as simple maths shows that from 24/11 to 6/12 is 13 days but she just didn’t get it.
It also wasn’t my first purchase from them but I’d never buy from them again.
The true test of a good seller I believe, is when something goes wrong and how they fix it.
She made what should have been a very simple process, very difficult from the beginning of my request to return.
