Misleading service T&C’s and how they work

I recently had a very frustrating experience with this company whose sign up process felt very misleading. Important information such as their fees and the process of cancellation of their services was not transparent prior to engaging with them. As a result, I ended up involved in something I didn’t fully understand. Companies have a responsibility to be clear and transparent, especially when it comes to financial commitments. Unfortunately, this service fell short of that. I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious and to read every detail carefully before engaging with this service, or consider doing the work yourself directly via HMRC.

Scam!!!

I never signed any contract with them, and now saying I owe £288 constantly harassing me wanting the the debt that’s apparently owed, I called them and there saying that I apparently did sign up when I never!! This company is a scam!! And now I’m probably going to have to pay them when I don’t have the money so I don’t get debt collectors at my door

STEER CLEAR

3 years ago Frederick Edwards got me over £400.00 pounds for a married couples allowance claim. Over the weekend I received a letter from HMRC saying I owe over £700 because of that claim meaning I'm over £300 down. Steer clear of this company, it seems amazing but in truth it is anything but!!!

SCAMMERS

Complete scam if they cold call u beware!!! Absolute parasites. Quite how they are getting away with using moriarty law to debt collect and apparently force entry (which is harassment and illegal) is beyond me. They have done this without carrying out any work I should add! Why is this still happening and why has no one shut them down?

As suspected, the reason we cant find you in our system is because you're not a customer of Fredrick Edwards Limited.
It appears you may have a contract with a Company of a similar name but as that's not us, we do not have any access to their records.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST SCAMMERS IN THE UK!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

I wish there was a way to give an even lower rating.The police need to be made aware of this company. This company has to be the worst group of scammers that ever existed in the UK. I don't understand how a company thinks it can survive by providing no service and then telling people they owe them hundreds of pounds. They have tried to intimidate me in to paying since 2025 and have now passed my details on their what I suspect are their partners in crime -Moriarty Law. I have nor responded to them in court and plan to expose them fully for the frauds that they are, I will not back down. no amount of CCJs will make me hand over a penny to these disgusting individuals. I plan to expose them on every social media platform. This time they have picked the wrong person to try to scam and intimidate. Absolutely disgusting. Everyone needs to be made aware of these people.

92% negative reviews? Scammed that sadly most people fall for it

92% negative reviews but yet they deny every single one, not rocket science to work out that these are a bunch of nasty individuals with only one focus which is to screw as much money out of you, then, will probably come back denying all knowledge of having any communication with you, reported to hmrc today by myself along with a recorded telephone conversation I had with them, here were very interested to hear what I had to say

Is this a scam

Won't send me details via Emails. Insist I phone them. My hearing is not that good, I tend not to use the phone.
They state HMRC have payed me directly,
Therefore they are claiming their payment
All i ask is when I was suppose to have recieved, because I've checked my statements, with nothing showing.
They insist I phone them. Surely they could send information via Email. Or is this a scam ?

People stay well away from this company , sign nothing, dont get tied in, I have been conned out of £108 and now they are saying over the phone £576 I owe but I have now been sent 2 invoices for £210 each, I have received no communication from them since I paid this £108 back in December 2025 but now February 2026 I owe £576, people stay away, THIS IS A WARNING FOLKS, DONT BE FOOLED

PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE.............

My Grandmother has dementia and does…

My Grandmother has dementia and does not have the capacity to authorise or consent to any services. So far you have instructed 2 debt collection agencies to pursue a debt for which she is not liable, I have submitted evidence to each of them and they have subsequently dropped the case. But you can't leave it there can you? as this morning she has received a letter from a 3rd debt collection agency!!! This company will be getting the same medical evidence and also a letter from our solicitor. The letter she has received this morning has led to her spiralling into panic and it is again having a negative effect on her health. Should you continue I will happily see you in court! Preying on the vulnerable and elderly and ignoring medical evidence, causing distress, it's outright harassment!

They are not a nice company to be around they send you a bill. Because you can’t remember what you claimed for in 2001 and they don’t care about your health. They just want your money and refuse to send you money that is yours. Don’t ask them for anything

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with.
Fredrick Edwards Limited repeatedly issued threatening communications over a disputed matter, including claims of imminent legal action, yet never produced evidence of an enforceable agreement or commenced proceedings. Requests for proof were ignored in favour of repeated pressure through third parties. When formally challenged, their response was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, deflecting responsibility rather than addressing legitimate concerns. A deeply troubling experience that falls far below acceptable professional and ethical standards.
