I have been a customer since 2017. I purchased my first unit the Ice Diamond after seeing it on Lemy beauty and have since purchased 5 more times. My latest purchase was the Monroe unit earlier this month. When it came you could tell the quality of the hair was second to none. It is obvious how much care they take to make each colour and style. Also the packaging was impressive, a silk bag and beautiful box to store it in. What ever product they are using for the fragrance is so nice aswell! I love my Freedom Couture wigs and will only buy from them.

I am really surprised by the other reviews but I know that there is an issue with scamming websites pretending to sell "Freedom Couture" wigs and stealing their videos. Unfortunately people have been scammed and then write a bad review. So ladies make sure to only buy from the real official website.

I’ve bought a few wigs from them in the past two years. The first two were great, the last two not so much. The second last one I got was a lot lighter and although it said dark ash it was pretty blonde, matching an exact other wig they had that they called light blonde. It was also a little greenish. There goes 1k. I didn’t bother to complain because they have a color disclaimer. Then they said a end of year sale so I bought decided to drop another 2k on a wig that was suppose to be blonde, instead I get a brown with with two cheap tacky blonde streaks in the front. It reminded me of what I did to my hair in middle school when I wanted to look “cool.” Worst part about it is, that wig looked exactly like another wig they had, from the color to the way it was dyed. The one I ordered was suppose to be more ombré starting from the roots, this one the color was dyed exactly like a wig they called Nia. Although the owner was friendly in her response, she was rather not helpful as she was contacting the production team to see what happened.

My theory is the first year that I had a good experience, she was more hands on, now her wigs are probably outsourced (probably to China. Check out Aliexpress) for all I know. But the quality has definitely gone downhill. Did I mention there was also a lot of breakage so the top half of my wig containing mainly 3 inch strands? Also, the baby hairs on the wigs look really weird. Nothing like her original work. I can accept if a wig color is a bit off since they have a disclaimer, but I cannot accept ordering one wig and clearly getting another one that was available on their site at the same time. If this is how they treat a regular customer, how do you think you’ll be treated once you get sent the wrong wig as a first time customer?

**UPDATE**
I forgot to post an update. I was able to get most of my money refunded because I had purchase through PayPal and they have a customer protection policy. I was correct. The wigs are no longer handmade by her in Australia but are made in China. How do I know this? Because the address that I had to send the wig back to was in China. If she was handmaking them in Australia then why wouldn't the return address be in Australia? Not worth paying the premium when you can pay a lot less from other companies that are at least honest about the wigs coming from China.

Early Dec 2019, I ordered a wig that from the Freedom Couture shop that looked to be a beautiful elegant platinum blonde, from the images on the store and Instagram. What I recieved and was sent to me is HORRIFIC for the cost and the only time it could ever be used by someone is for Halloween.

The wig is ratty and in a terrible condition. The colour has a noticable yellow undertone in some places and in others it is SO white that it looks synthetic. The colour is very uneven and has that cheap platinum blonde colour. The lace they used is also not transparent as claimed in their description but a light rose colour that is noticable against the skin and casts a rosy/pinky hue at the roots. The wig is honestly just a hot mess all round and in my opinion should not have been sold due to the colour and condition.

I took this wig to a professional wig maker here in South Africa and he said that it's very poor quality hair and questioned if it was 100% human hair? and that the workmanship was not good as the baby hairs created were not natural looking and created a lobsided framing on the wig.

When I contacted Freedom Couture the first thing they spewed was their disclaimer. It's as if they are VERY VERY used to getting complaints.

Then I was told ((Dear Bella, The Ivy you purchased is platinum blonde as per our website description. If you prefer more silver tones in your platinum I would recommend using some diluted sulfate free purple shampoo or conditioner.))

Now recommending that I shampoo a brand new wig to remove some of the uneven brassy tones would forfeit any kind of exchange on the wig. That this was the first feedback was my first red flag. Shampoo a new wig because there is a colour descrepency? Seriously. This is completely unethical!

My own natural hair is platinum blonde. So I took photos in natural light of the wig, my hair, and compared it to the store advert wig colouring. The images showed clear inconsistency of what was advertised and what arrived this is how they responded.

The colour of the wig that I recieved from Freedom Couture is more like Storm from XMen vs the wig colour advertised like Candice Swanepoel.

Ladies... If you are thinking of buying from this store. DONT! You will be wasting your money. I was not asking for a refund. I was asking for them to exchange the wig for the correct shade from what was deliveref to me. I also offered to pay in extra money if required. All I asked for was to correct their mistake. They were not willing to fix their mistake and simply did not care.

This company does not care about their customers or their brand. They really come across as professional pre-sale but their post-sale attitude is where the problem resides. I paid AUS $980 and ranks in the top 5 worst and overpriced buys I have made. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

After one wear my wig is so thin and ratty! Every time I brush it lots of hair comes out! Also can not get the wig to look natural no matter how hard I try! I have tried gluing, wig tape etc but it just looks so fake! I wish I read these reviews before spending lots of money :( I watched LOTS of videos before hand on how to cut the lace and how to wear etc but I still can’t get it to look good.

Absolute waste of 450 dollars. I bought during her "flash sale" and the hair quality is HORRIBLE, and it looks like a halloween wig. I ordered transparent lace and the lace was a mustard yellow. Horrible. I ignored the bad reviews and bought one because of her great ones on instagram but I feel scammed. I just wanted to feel pretty and have hair again. Do not buy from this company.

Please please please dont buy wigs from this company. Horrible looking. It looks nothing from the photos on insta. I chopped all my naturel hair off during too much dye. I thought a wig would give me confident till my hair grows back. I wish I had just rocked my buzz style instead of wearing a overly expensive wig till my own hair grows back . I paid 2000 for a Halloween wig. Avoid avoid avoid...

I actually bought my wig from them in 2016, but the story is so frustrating I'll never forget it:

For $1000+... they sent me a USED wig.I actually figured it had been used because the elastic was hanging off and it smelt strongly of someone else's perfume. It just looked worn. (Also I hadn't tried a lace wig before so I didn't even realise that I had been sent a wig with the lace ALREADY cut.)

I politely told them this and got treated appallingly. I opened a PayPal case and the management was so rude to me and said my Paypal case was "so unnecessary" but they then agreed to take the wig back.

The most shocking part is, when I sent the wig back i got a snarky email from them asking why the lace had been cut LOL... THAT'S HOW THEY SENT IT TO ME!!!

I was simply furious. I explained, yet again, they sent me a second-hand wig, and they eventually apologised and refunded. Word of advice... avoid at all costs. And if you really want to try them, make sure you use Paypal to cover yourself. Management is incredibly unprofessional, so be prepared.

Got wig today. Spent TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED USD, on a wig and they couldn’t even include a wig cap? Unreal... Also, the wig looked so shockingly different from the photo when I opened the box I thought that I had been sent the wrong order, I understand colors will vary slightly from computer to computer, I was using a MacBook Pro in viewing the pictures, this was not a slight variation this was SIGNIFICANT. I would never have purchased this wig, and will ensure to protect those I know from making my expensive mistake. Still in disbelief on $2,500 and no wig cap. I’ll never even end up wearing the wig the color is so off. Bye bye $2,500. What was I thinking...

Worst wigs ever! China looking wigs when you receive it!!!! I paid 4K for a wig and it looks worse than a halloween shiny wig. The photos she posts on instagram are photoshopped and filtered!!! beware!!! I immediatelt messaged them and no reply!!!!! Worst company ever!!!!

Yet again I’ve found myself victim to a soulless “wig” retailer from the Chinese peninsular . Again promised a lace cap human hair premium quality wig for my chemo treatment, instead I receive a cheap plastic mistitched knock off, they bully you into a 50% refund so u don’t have to pay the pricey return postage to China “they post in bulk making it cheap for themselves” but we don’t have that luxury meaning if you don’t want to spend more money posting it back and want to see a single penny back you have to let them pocket £20 minimum, they know they have you in a corner. its the perfect con.

Do not buy a wig from this company. I bought a unit in September 2018 and had issues right from when I received it. I purchased all of their products to maintain it and the wig started to shed to the point where there are bald spots and it lost over 4 inches in length. I contacted them every time i had an issue or a question and I was advised to send the unit back to them. After spending $2500+ I assumed that they would quickly resolve the issue. Instead I was accused of dying the unit and cutting it, neither of which I did. They do not stand behind their products and have the worst customer service. Do your research and buy hair or wigs local to you. There are plenty of good units that cost a fraction of Freedom Couture. When I shared my experience on their Instagram page they blocked me.

are ridiculous Icant believe it , their products are not as same as their advertised at all ,if you like to waste yor money buy it and there is no way to refund or return their product

Their products do not look like on the pictures, they have a horrible rating. Probably wrote all the positives themselves!

I ordered a wig which i later changed my mind on. The stafff said my money was going to be refunded which they had taken over £41 out of my account and only returned £38. I have sent multiple emails with photos of my bank statements proving the money was not refunded but they insisted it was and still has not been refunded. Disgusting service do not recommend buying from here at all.

I ordered a wig and received the wrong one. I'm still waiting for a reply. Very disappointed. If you send me the correct wig I had ordered and make good on our transaction, I will take down my negative review.

WTH! I really had high hopes for this wig. It seriously is the worst. The hair is shiny like synthetic, the knots are unbleached and it cost me $1,500.00 CAD. I put it on and immediately had a bad feeling. One thing I can give them props on is the major marketing they’ve done to hype up these wigs in their OCT flash sale. I cannot believe they would scam innocent ppl into this and sell their wigs at such high ridiculous prices. The baby hairs look nothing like the ones on their models heads. The packaging is perfect. But that’s about it. Nothing else. Please don’t buy it. NOT WORTH IT. Unless you don’t have any hair. Then it might look good.

I purchased 2 wigs about a week ago. And wow. I can’t believe how fake they look. They’re absolutely NOTHING AT ALL like the picture or even videos posted!! I could not be more disappointed. They are nothing like the color. About 10 shades off basically. They’re supposed to be lace wigs with clips on them. But nope. Also it says it’s real hair. The minute I put a slight bit of heat on it, it shriveled up. NOTHING was what it said. Nothing. My grandma has cancer with no money and I told her to purchase these because I did my research on them and they “looked” amazing. But now she is stuck with no hair. This is literally such a rip off.

I recently order the Jessica unit from them from their November flash sale. I was told that the item was shipped on Sunday and then 2 days later on Tuesday they email me saying that they refunded me because there's a glitch in their system and that they no longer have the Jessica unit. Horrible company and no respond from them as to how could this happened. Don't have a sale if you truly don't have the quantity to provide to your customer!

I bought one of these wigs from them in June and it didn't even last 2 months .. the hair is real nice but at my hair line there are 2 huge bold spots. I'm so annoyed because this wig cost me a little over $2000 and didn't even last 2 months.. here is the thing apart from the 2 bold spots my wig is in good condition when it comes to the hair quality but the wig is now garbage because I cannot wear a wig with hair missing at the front.. I sent these people 2 messages and know one got back to me . These wigs are ridiculously Overpriced and bad customer service.. if anyone knows a place that would place hair back on wigs so I can get my fixed please someone let me know!!
