Freedom Tech list they are FCA regulated, they are not, they ceased to be regulated in December 2024. Check carefully for misleading promotions which will catch you short resulting in you having to go via the FCA to seek recovery. If you are a school looking to work with this business, I strongly suggest you dl your due diligence about promoting and introduction parents to a non regulated firm.

Neil was very thorough in explaining the service freedomtech offer.

Not answering calls - all extensions just cut off after a few rings. They are still taking direct debit for my child’s device even though the payment period is over and she has left school! Scam.

Had a very good experience getting a Chromebook. The team ensured that the spec would be ideal and delivery times were suitable for me during my working hours. The person I spoke with (Jamal) was very professional, well spoken and very willing. Highly recommended.

SCAM would give zero stars if i could
failed to repair my screen.They partner with school to profits of uninformed parents who want they children to get the latest tech. Overpriced repair takes way too long and did not fully repair. Absolute, disgrace ,fraudulent ,disgusting, hateful company that deserves nothing but the worst.#takedownfreedomtech

Terrible service. Raised a ticket last week haven’t heard from them yet paid the full amount already but no service from them . On phone line they say do not call us if it’s not 7 days gone past you raised the claim . Extremly awful

I would actually give this tech company a big fat ZERO. Appalling service.
They made a deal.with my child's school, to sell chromebooks with a repair insurance. However, my daughters device arrived with scratches on it.
The company blurb said pupils would receive their device with a neoprene cover. However, almost 6 weeks in to term, the company have still and repeatedly failed to send the neoprene covers.

Absolutely appalling company. Do not purchase with them. If your school tells you to.sign up. My advice would be "don't".
They do not care and the school washes their hands of any responsibility to follow up on the brokered deal with the tech company.
Device delivered on the 4 September 2023. And no neoprene covers STILL on 11 October...

Shocking service and fraudulent activity.

Rubbish... They are a joke and passed my contract details to another finance company..!! Which then continued to invoice for phones I haven't used but forgot to tell me I had to cancel the conatrct with the 3 rd party...!!! Waste of time.

Whoever trusted this cowboy firm with ensuring kids have tech for schools clearly has no idea. What an absolute waste if space this company are. Terrible in every single aspect of what they do.

Was directed to these guys by a local school, wish I'd done more research on them before i departed with £500. It took nearly 2 months, once I'd paid for the laptop, to finally get it. There were no shipping/tracking updates during the whole process. I had to constantly chase them up, asking for updates, but they always emailed a flaky answer. When i called them no one ever answered.
I can't recommend using these guys in any way. I could have got a similar laptop form currys in a couple of days with so much less hassle.
You have been warned!!!!

Customer support for this company is a total and utter disgrace.
I purchased an iPad through them and they mailed the receipt to the wrong address. The School contacted and asked them to correct it but the receipt was never sent to me. I now need proof of purchase for my childcare vouchers and they are uncontactable. Email says call because the email address isn't monitored and when you call it says email! What a shambles. I am unable to log onto to their system using the logon detail supplied by the school so I can't use that either. It actually says if you can't logon try in the evening, REALLY?

This is a company that is providing tech solutions for our children and their own IT is total and utter shambles.

This company pairs itself up with schools to rip parents off with tech that can be bought cheaper elsewhere. They offer financial products but are not covered by the FCA. they claim their financial products are based on admin costs but not on interest. Sounds like mis-selling and a scam. no protection if they go bust. Avoid like the plague.
