The customer service quality absolutely stinks when it comes to anybody actually responding to my messages that I've sent to them time and time again. On top of that the software itself is very good, but not great simply because of the last firmware update they made for it. Now some of its previous features are missing which has forced me to use another software converter instead of freemake. That's why you should always respond to your customers whenever need assistance. So that way you don't end up loosing them in the end. That's one of the first things they teach you in the world of doing business.

The free week offer to try the product did not convinced me to buy it. Indeed it was quicker to rip a DVD with the option than without, but still 1hour per movie! There is no content to read and see what you are loading, only the duration of the videos, not convenient when the DVD have extra bonus... Half of the time it bugs like "DVD/Freemake does not answer, send a report, try again to load the DVD.." and waste more time than necessary..
It's probably a great option/app when you don't need to use it a lot, otherwise it's quickly overwhelmed and not efficient.

this is great and fast. I use it every so often and hope you'll not start charging like so many converters which end up charging sooner or later.

I don't like having spent money for (4) Lifetime Mega Pack keys and then when I had to reinstall the software on my PC due to a recernt Windows update corrupted file, I reached out to Freemake because my License Keys were not working and they told me that its one key for one software. I then had to go to their site and pull up all the lifetime mega pack keys that I had already purchased. Lifetime being the operative word.No matter how many updates or new versions of Freemake they put out, my license keys should work for a lifetime.

The service to support and help to solve a problem was exellent and fast.

Wow! After ages of trying to find an easy to use and effective YouTube video down loader that didn't slug me a pile, this one worked first time!

Freemake have an excellent support system. They reply immediately and mostly efficient suggestions to attend to a query. My favorite program. Easy to follow website.

I've never had problems with them, and I love their software.

Easy, effective, no BS.

I have used several of Freemake’s products for many years. They are easy to adapt to and function better than advertised in my opinion. The interface is straightforward and well designed. My old laptop recently died and support was quick to respond with assistance to reload their programs on my new one.

Freemake never delivered any software to me to include the original software I bought. They enticed me to buy an "expanded" software package which I decided I did not want. I did not receive that package either. I asked for Freemake to send this software, so far, no luck. I asked my bank to do a "charge-back" for undelivered, but charged, product. I no longer want to have any further contact with this company and want a full and complete refund.

The first thing about Freemake is that it is easy to use. I have used it for over 5 years and every time that I have a download problem, I send them an email and get an answer back right away. They handle problems quick and efficiently. If you need to download videos, this is the program you need.

I have been using Freemake Video Converter for a few years now and am completely satisfied with it. I just recently found out from freemake that the copy you have purchased on one computer is only good for that ONE COMPUTER. I had contacted the Freemake support team and they immediately brought that to my attention. I now am aware of this and also asked to have a new key as I somehow lost the other one and they responded immediately with a new one and again brought to my attention, that it is only good for one PC. Before receiving my reply from Freemake, I went onto Computer No. 2 and purchased the Mega Pack for a lifetime which gave me a new key to use on PC2. The next day I had received an Email from Freemake, thanking me for my recent purchase and giving me both keys again for PC1 and PC2. Once the time expires on PC2, will be purchasing another lifetime Mega Pack. To date, I am most impressed with not only the program but also the fast service and support which I have been receiving from Freemake. Again, thanks.

I am 72 and old school not very Tech savvi but iv used Mic soft word to write 2 books thats about my limit. I got Freemake video converter 12 years ago so i could convert films on to my laptop i worked traveling the world inspecting Oil Rigs they were very remote. So iv manged to crash my computor many times i v also been hacked. Freemake saved me on numerous occasions and reinstated my converter every time for
nothing, So Freemake I say thank you.

The issue I had was that Freemake wasn't downloading videos. They told me that they are working on a fix to correct the error. Freemake came through as usual with an update and everything seems to be working ok. Thank you, Freemake.

I bought a Lifetime key, but unfortunately the software became unusable after a few months because they released a paid update. I’ve already read that this has happened to others as well, in several cases.
This is a deliberate deception of users. Sure, you get a Lifetime key, but they stop developing the software and release a new version instead, leaving you with a “thanks for nothing” experience. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to give this company their money.

I had a problem with my lost activation code, and Freemake support resolved it within 24 hours of my request! Great!

Garbage never again

I've been using Freemake for years, initially the basic version, then I paid a little extra so I was able to remove watermarks etc. It has always been reliable, nice and simple to edit videos with, with a big range of conversions.

I have only had this software a short time and am still learning the ins and outs of it. I would have appreciated a concise manual for the operation of the software but, with my limited experience, I find it does the job well. Due to my inexperience, I did reach out to their technical support today. I found that they did not require an in-depth background from me before allowing me to ask the question and, for that, I thank them. Surprisingly, they responded back within a few hours with an answer. Therefore, I would have to give their technical support high marks.
