Unfortunately, I don’t speak fluent German yet, so I tried to get support in English. Here’s how that went:
1-Used the chatbot in the app—it gave me a phone number to call for English support.
2-Called the number. The person who answered told me (in German) that English support is only available via email, despite me asking in English.
3-Emailed the address provided—only to be told that support is available only in German.
A frustrating and disappointing experience overall.

Robbery in broad daylight
Hate it wholeheartedly, been having a lot of issues related to additional services, i have a phone call about a technical issue and all of a sudden i received an sms telling me "welcome to waipu.tv!" this is literally SCAMMING in broad daylight. Also been having technical issue with my SIM and the only solution they offer seems to be a more expensive plan.
Even tho they offer cheap prices, that's apparently at a COST, a more expensive one than i would've had elsewhere, never again.

App Login wasn’t working
I had a problem with the app log in but they have solved it in a good time manner, although it was difficult to find the contact formular because it’s redirecting you from the app that i was unable to use.
I tried the live chat but it wasn’t helpful and i finally googled for a way to contact them and i found the formular, after that they solved very quick my issue

One of the most terrible experiences ever in Germany
1- After changing my old contract to Freenet, my first telephone call ended up resulting in two more contracts that I didn’t ask for. I had the experience of such thing but he talked very fast and unclear and although I didn’t accept anything still I received two irrelevant subscription contract to something else.
2- I asked for e-SIM to make the process easier and environmental friendly. As I was guided, I had to register it with a new number, and then the old number should’ve been taken over from 6am on a specific day. Till 11 the e-SIM was not activated with my old number, so I thought to remove it and add it again, because it was showing me „no number“. And in all of the documents it was never mentioned that the e-SIM can be used only once. After deleting it, it showed me „not valid anymore“ and Freenet told me that I have to pay 10€ for a new e-SIM, although even a physical SIM is free of charge. So I just decided to cancel the contract, it was really messy for even just a few days. But then more catastrophe comes:
3- My new contract provider can’t activate my old number because Freenet and Klarmobil (Freenet seems to be a subsidiary of Klarmobil) can’t approve my number! So in the middle of all this and me being without an active mobile number for more than a week, the process is blocked.

Scammers. I literally got scammed by the custom service
I literally got scammed by the customer service. He made me accept a message which he told me he needed to help me. I told him i do not speak german very well. Then we talked. In the end he said some stuff really really fast and i said okay danke. then i opened the freenet website and saw he signed 2 contracts for me. I was very quick and i canceled both of the contracts. I will end my membership as soon as possible, unbelievable. SCAMMER COMPANY

I would not recommend Freenet to my worst enemy , it is a scam!! They survive from misinforming unfortunate international customers that can’t speak German . Their customer service is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced and they refuse to speak anything but German even though they have international customers. They always say „ we’re in Germany so we should speak German „ or „ we’re in Germany , we don’t make mistakes „ . I am not someone who gets easily frustrated but Freenet does that so easily .They provide services you did not ask for and expect you to pay . Initially I had a two year contract for 30GB and a phone for 30 euros . As soon as it expired I got a call from them asking if I want to extend . My German was bad and after pleading with the person on the phone to speak English , he refused and kept talking in German . I do not know what I agreed to but somehow I have a deal of 26 euros for just 10GB (this person somehow manipulated me because I do not recall agreeing to this ). On top of that it’s for two years and I can’t cancel until it’s over . And they keep sending emails or calling about special deals and even though I didn’t accept any . I just recently found out they’ve been charging me extra for something called digital lifestyle which I never signed up for and now I have to pay 40 euros extra for that . My experience has been horrible and frustrating and I don’t know where to go or who to report this to . Instead of paying 26 euros I’ve been paying more than 100 euros for the past few months and I do not know why . As a student it’s horrible . Please if anyone knows how they can help me get out of this nightmare , I would really appreciate it
