Lovely quality reins. I got a pair at the National Equine Show last month and have been riding in them since. Thankfully not tested the safety feature, but a huge comfort knowing they will come undone if needed. I'm also super impressed with the overall quality of the reins and the strength of the connector, my horse loves to drop his head and eat grass so i can confidently confirm they won't come undone while riding in them

I bought a pair of reins and a starter kit which is then smoked in customs before I bought the reins I wrote and asked if there was any duty on them and they said no it is included in the shipping now I have to pay duty for them and I have written to them that unfortunately I have not paid duty but would very much like to have my money back as I will not be receiving my reins and to that they simply replied that they cannot refund my money very poor service and poor explanation of what you get in the whole thing and what the price is when there is duty on it

It has made me not buy from them at all.

I purchased these reins after viewing them and talking with the brand owner at birmingham Nec National Equine Show earlier this year. Being an older rider with young horses safety is paramount so of course i had to buy these. The leather is so supple and i chose the narrower reins, i love riding with them, they look amazing. Fantastic product. 💖

After an accident where my horse got his foot caught in my old reins which then didn’t snap I felt it important, not matter the cost, to ensure he could not be injured in this way again. Incredible product. My daughter is 5 and does show jumping so I feel much better knowing she is safer as she rides. The quality of the product along with the customer service is fantastic and I have had so many compliments on the reins too. Definitely recommend!!!

I chose these reins for my daughter after she had a traumatic riding accident where she became entangled in her reins and was dragged under her pony after falling. I have to say, they are incredible and have given us huge peace of mind. Until you see an accident caused by entanglement, you have no idea how dangerous traditional reins are and I hope in time these safety reins become a standard piece of kit, just like safety stirrups. From a quality perspective, they are beautiful. We have used ours every day for nearly 6 months and they still look brand new. The leather is supple, the grip is excellent quality and the connector sturdy. My daughter loves that the connector adds a little weight to her reins too as it means they don’t get lost so easily if she ever loses balance. This is a product truly worth investing in.

Fantastic product designed to improve our safety while riding as well as the safety of our horses . Free Reins look stylish and are super comfortable . A definite must have no matter are you professional or a pleasure rider . I personally had a fall where I would have ended up injured if it wasn’t for the free trains quick release mechanism.

These reins are lovely to use, they’re really soft, flexible and grippy and they help me to feel confident jumping which as a slightly more nervous rider I find really valuable. I know that I will be safe from being caught in the reins in the event of a fall. Thank you Free reins.

I have had these reins for a while now and they are still in the same condition as when I first got them out of the box, they are so supple and amazing to ride in and I feel so much safer knowing that they will break without causing me any extra cost if me or my horse were to get caught

Just bought these reins after a friends recommendation…. They are fantastic not only do they look and feel great I feel so much safer riding with them. The team at free reins where really helpful and knowledgeable when selecting them.
A great product and a must for any rider!

I bought these reins for my competitive daughter and her 14.2 pony. Safety is my absolute priority for both of them, so I was delighted when this product became available on the market. Having purchased a pair, I was certainly not disappointed. The quality, feel and aesthetics of the product are first class. The safety connector is extremely light weight, and my daughter loves the suppleness of the rein. I rarely complete reviews but felt that I have to shout out about this product as its first class and a must have to improve safety of both horse and rider. Thank you, Free Reins.

We absolutely love our free reins I Daisy is much safer when riding with her free reins specially as we have a very high spirited pony who just lives to go fast and buck along side the amazing safety aspects they reins are soft and durable and I love how they look I always struggled to find reins daisy liked that were the right length !! I highly recommend riding with Free Reins .
