I had always found the food to be of excellent quality and it was very much enjoyed by our dog. However, we can no longer buy it as it has been out of stock for months. I feel very let down by Fresco as we relied on their mono-protein wet food in the more exotic varieties for our dog with IBD and have had to go through all the trial and error (and the unpleasant consequences) of foods that don't agree with our dog's allergies with new brands to find a replacement.

Stock has been depleted due to pandemic, this is understandable. Advised to switch to one of their other foods (from frozen raw to dry raw). Discussed transition and followed instructions as advised. My dog has had the runs for over a month - when I called to discussed this I was blamed, laughed at and told to 'go read the website'. Looking at the other bad experience on here I can see that other dogs have had similar negative experiences with this food and have been dismissed. Very poor customer service and lost custom as a result. AVOID.

I recently switched my 3 dogs over to Fresco dry raw.
All dogs had an increased thirst, however, one dog had an excessive increase in drinking. He was drinking so much he began to wee during the night.. Something he had never done before.
He also seemed tired and lethargic.

I took him to the vets, who ran a few tests and told me to stop feeding this food and move him back to his previous food.
He’s now back on the original food he was on prior to Fresco, and the drinking and night time wetting has stopped!!!
The others have also been taken off the food, and the increased thirst has stopped.
We are going back to the vets tomorrow for a follow up appointment, but he seems completely fine now - thankfully.

I did contacted Fresco to ask if water could be added to the food, reply below, (current dog food has 18% moisture!) the Fresco food had 8% causing dehydration.

Fresco response:
To produce 1kg of our Dry Raw we need on average 4kg of our market fresh ingredients. We remove nearly all the moisture content from the fresh material, resulting in hard & crunchy nuggets full of vital nutrients.

We don’t recommend adding water, but it would not cause any bacterial side effects.

Dry Dog Food typically has 10 – 12% moisture content whereas our Dry Raw has a moisture content of around 8%.

As well as being the highest rated Dry Raw Food for dogs, the menus have been formulated with Anita Kroger a holistic veterinarian and also the founder of the Dog Health Centre in Germany, so you can be sure that all the percentages including the moisture content are perfectly balanced.

If your vet recommended to stop feeding the Dry Raw, you can of course return the food and we will provide you with a full refund, providing the bags are unopened and in a resalable condition.

We are new to this product but for a fussy eater we have taken to it really well. As well as having a great rating on allaboutdogfood the customer service is exceptional. One of my orders arrived with a hole in the bag, my initial email was unanswered, when i chased with a second email I received a call from Fresco apologising as my initial email had gone into spam. Not only did i receive a personal call they also arranged a replacement to be delivered straight away and without the hassle of me returning the damaged product or paying for any delivery. THANK YOU

I can't recommend Fresco enough.
I messed up an order online which I hadn't noticed and received a courtesy from them to check and verify my error rather than simply processing it.
On a separate occasion, DHL made a mistake which delayed my order at no fault to Fresco but the way it was handled by the customer service team was phenomenal.
At the time of writing this Fresco is the highest nutritionally rated raw dog food on allaboutdogfood and my dog is thriving on it. Coupled with some of the best customer service i've ever received I wouldn't go anywhere else. 10/10

High quality dog food , super fast delivery, couldn't ask for more.

As a regular customer with fortnightly deliveries I find the customer service absolutely amazing. Despite living in a rural part of Scotland, my deliveries arrive the next day without fail. Brilliant company and our doggos absolutely love the pizzle bits, fillets, burgers and vital sticks.

Dog loves the chews and delivery always comes quickly and packaged carefully. Top notch service and products :)

Great service and amazing dog treats. My dog absolutely loves the products. They sell in bulk which is great as it's cost effective. The delivery was super fast as well.
