Refused to Cooperate with EU Consumer Authorities – Extreme Drop in Quality
After receiving well-documented, extremely poor-quality products from Friking (sold under the "Lemon Tee" label without my prior knowledge), I filed formal complaints with both Confianza Online (Secretaría Técnica) and the ECC – European Consumer Centre.
I had ordered three Medium-sized t-shirts:
One fit like an XS
One roughly corresponded to M
One was closer to an XL
The fabric was thin and almost transparent. The once-vibrant Friking designs were now cheap, peel-off prints that didn’t survive a single wash. This wasn’t just a drop in quality—it was a completely different product line, misleadingly sold under the same designs and prices.
Friking was contacted by both consumer protection bodies and refused to cooperate with either. That shows a clear lack of accountability. They count on customers giving up. Even legal and financial recovery routes have been ineffective so far, as the company does not engage.
No reputable business ignores two official European dispute resolution mechanisms. That alone should be a major red flag to any potential buyer.
