Great meals and snacks with good…

Great meals and snacks with good healthy ingredients that have all tasted so good and that I have been looking for in a ready meal service
Good delivery and all packed well and love that you can get free snacks sometimes really recommend :)

Food not delivered despite promise of delivery

This has honestly been one of the most frustrating customer experiences I’ve had.

I switched to Frive because the food is genuinely very good, healthy, and made with quality ingredients. But none of that matters when the service is this unreliable.

Over the past three weeks, I’ve had constant issues. First, my delivery was lost. Then the following week was skipped because I never received the usual reminder email with the payment link where I enter my OTP. I even reached out on time, but support took over 24 hours to respond, by which point they just told me the cutoff had passed.

After escalating things, I contacted the CEO and team, and I was told a box would be sent to me for free. I even have this on email. Despite that, the box didn’t arrive again this week. This is now the third week in a row without a proper delivery. This clearly was a lie and now I am left to figure out my meals for this week. There is no option to attach photos as proof or else I would have showed that they claimed the box would be delivered today.

What makes this worse is the communication. If they had simply told me the delivery wouldn’t arrive, I could have made other arrangements. Instead, I was left waiting and expecting food that never came and I had to personally open a ticket today to ask them where my food is to which they said "I'm really sorry for the confusion and inconvenience caused. I've checked on this, and unfortunately it looks like your delivery didn't go through today as expected. I completely understand how frustrating this is, especially when you were relying on it. If you need to make alternative arrangements, I'd definitely recommend doing so just to be safe.". Telling me to make alternative arrangements on the day of delivery is extremely unprofessional.

I was also asked to remove my previous negative review after things were supposedly resolved, which I did in good faith. Now everything is back to the same issues, which makes that request feel completely unfair.

It genuinely feels disrespectful as a customer. I was willing to pay, I followed up on time, and I still ended up dealing with delays, missed deliveries, and broken promises.

Great food, but extremely poor reliability and customer service. Definitely not worth the hassle. With this being said I have cancelled my subscription and I have used similar meal service for the past 2 years and Frive was supposed to be the better alternative but clearly their customer service is lacking, they make false promises of delivery just to get a negative review removed. I will not be removing this review now and I am hoping there can be some accountability taken from Frive's side.

We’re really glad you’ve enjoyed the meals, as our chefs put a lot of care into preparing high-quality, healthy meals. We understand your first delivery was impacted by a courier issue, and we sincerely apologise for that. Regarding the payment issue, our team has since been in touch to explain that this was caused by a bank-related authentication issue, which unfortunately prevented the order from processing at the time.

We’re pleased that, following this, our team was able to arrange a delivery which has now successfully reached you. However, we completely recognise that this doesn’t undo the frustration of the previous weeks, and we’re very sorry for the disruption caused in the meantime.

In terms of communication, we always aim to respond as quickly as possible and support our customers through any issues. We’re sorry that on this occasion it didn’t feel that way, and your feedback has been taken on board internally as we continue to improve both response times and overall experience.

We also want to reassure you that we would never make promises lightly. Our intention throughout has been to resolve things and ensure you receive what you were expecting.

We completely understand your decision, but we would genuinely welcome the opportunity to restore your trust in the future.

The food is actually great, the customer service is useless

The food is actually great, and I really enjoy it. Unfortunately we had a situation a few weeks ago, when I've ordered 20 meals, and I've got only 10. It was the DPD driver mistake as we have received the photos with the delivery but was someone else's house. We tried to contact the customer service of Frive, and this was the most painful thing to do. You need to do better on that. We haven't sorted out the 10 meals missing as it's no real person to help out and to understand...the AI chat is useless, and the "person" is useless as well...asking the same questions after the message is saying that a real person will get the report with the conversation.

Great tasting food, easy to cook!

Delivery all got here in one piece (unlike other subscriptions I've used) the food is packaged in compostable trays and is really easy to cook. The food is super tasty without being over spiced (again like other subscriptions) and the portions of fish/prawns you get is excellent! Am definitely keeping the subscription going after this first delivery!

Very well packaged for delivery.

The delivery was done well and arranged on time. The package was prepared amazingly, with all 24 meals correctly given with ice included to keep the food chilled! All the food tasted delicious, loved the Thai Basil Beef and Prawn Panang Curry!
