Written by the company

Frontline Publishing is an independent author services company dedicated to helping writers, professionals, and storytellers bring original book concepts to market. The team provides hands-on guidance through each phase of the publishing path, working alongside novelists, memoirists, business writers, children's book creators, and poets. The primary objective is to take the confusion out of the production cycle by giving writers access to dependable editorial, design, and distribution assistance tailored to commercial standards. The services cover every task required to turn an early draft or simple outline into a finished, retail-ready book. For authors who have concepts but lack the time to write, ghostwriters collaborate closely to develop full-length manuscripts while preserving the author's distinct personal voice. Editorial teams perform line-by-line copyediting, structural reviews, and proofreading to correct grammar, sharpen pacing, and eliminate typos. On the production side, designers create custom, genre-appropriate book covers along with interior layouts formatted for paperbacks, hardcovers, and reflowable digital formats. Authors can also expand their reach through audiobook narration, promotional video trailers, custom author website development, and targeted promotional campaigns across major online retail channels. Throughout every stage, authors retain total creative control and intellectual property rights over their work. Projects follow a structured milestone system where chapter drafts, layout proofs, and cover concepts are submitted for client review at each step. The team incorporates revisions based on direct feedback, ensuring that nothing goes to print or digital release without full author sign-off. This transparent workflow keeps writers informed about their book's progress and guarantees that the finished product reflects their original goals. Frontline Publishing operates as an independent organization and has no affiliation, partnership, sponsorship, or association with any other company or brand that may share a similar or identical name. This includes, but is not limited to, well-known publishing companies or corporations. All services, creative work, and materials provided through their site belong exclusively to Frontline Publishing and are not authorized, endorsed, or approved by any third party.

My gratitude to Frontline Publishing

From the first I have been treated with professionalism and patience. Toby Garcia created the great cover for my latest book and showed me how to communicate with the script on the cover. I then worked with Merlyin Alex on each of the manuscripts. She is patient, helpful, knowledgeable and accessible. I am most pleased with the final product and am most grateful to Frontline Publishing for everything.

Even through a few hiccups

Even through a few hiccups, my experience has been one filled with relief and gratefulness in watching the manuscript come to fruition and be treasured as a precious work that I always knew it would be. Their focus and research is the real skill set they bring to helping authors achieve the goals envisioned. Frontline is a reality maker for my dreams. Thank you, Frontline!

Being a writer and have a book written…Wonderful Life

Being a writer and have a book written and published was a dream of mine since I was a youngster. Thomas Hill from Frontline Publishing along with its team members not only made it come to fruition. It formed a friendship and bond between us that will never be forgotten.
I know Thomas spent much time outside his normal work day providing guidance with suggestions for cover, content and design.
I will be forever thankful and grateful to have been so lucky to have Thomas and the people from Frontline Publishing for creating my book “Wonderful Life,” as one of my greatest achievements.

Frontline Publishing

Frontline Publishing
I have had very good experiences with this company. I am a first-time author and was basically (still
am) clueless about what to do next. The people who are working with me have been encouraging
and supportive. I appreciate all that has happened so far. I can’t say much more because my book
has not yet been published.

Long Review from Author of "The Sin and the Boy"

I apologize for the long review, but I highly reccomend reading through everything.

I have used Frontline Publishing to produce an audiobook for my novel, "The Sin and the Boy." My first comment: any person you speak to at Frontline Publishing is a salesperson--and their first and foremost purpose is for their clients to spend the most money as possible, even when it is not disclosed in the original production plan.

I talked with Tony Garcia first, who provided a base cost sheet for my project, established a timeline, and listed the details of what was included in the original plan. All of which I budgeted for, and had prepared to cover the cost, as I knew what I was expecting.

After I met my first project manager, Eva Millars, I quickly discovered how pushy they could be. There would be times when I felt like every call was meant as a sale pitch about a feature that they offer. While I see the value in providing the most exposure for an indie author, the prices Frontline offered were far too expensive for me to consider--and at times, I was haggled down with zip code based "discount" to see if I would buy what they were offering, even after I said no a million times.

My new project manager, Emma Brown, has been a bit more lenient with the offers, but has convinced me to buy a few more promotional concepts after not understanding the concept of "no." Again, never mentioned in the original budget or plan, because Frontline Publishing tells you one amount, and then charges a dozen times over with details that were never mentioned.

Overall, the quality of the work across the board has been fine. My book narrator is very professional, and while I do not communicate with her directly, she does a decent job at the pronunciation of hard fantasy language. The only problem I have with some of the readings are usually fixed per Frontline's policy "edits until 100% satisfied", so there are no complaints there.

For the website creation, I wish, again, that Frontline Publishing disclosed how much the entire website, plus the addition of merchants and security, would have cost upfront, since it too was expensive and came as a shock that I had to cough up more money in order to secure these features separately. Had I been aware of the payments ahead of time, I would have been more insistient about saying no to the website, rather than giving in.

Overall, Frontline Publishing is a business. They look to take as much money as possible and leave indie authors blindsided by additional payments and features after promising them a (decently good) package. For anyone looking to use their services, I highly suggest that you either have a strong backbone for their insistent offers, or find a different publishing company that details out everything before you agree to a partnership.
