This has been my first experience with a company MVL and I’m very glad that I chose Frost Group. There is much more to closing a company than I realised but throughout the process Frost Group could not have been more prompt or efficient. Emails were always replied to clearly and the same working day. Telephone calls were answered straight away by a human being (Kerry, in fact) - how often does that happen these days?! - with courtesy and helpfulness. My initial research suggests that Frost Group represents excellent value for money. They have a very clear, tiered fee structure which varies with the size/complexity of the liquidation and I suspect this makes them very competitive; certainly, they had the lowest quote I was offered. No negatives. So: highly recommended.

Great experience in liquidation process of my company with the help of Frost Group. Very smooth paperwork and competitive price.

Going through a CVL in your business is an incredibly challenging and emotional experience. To be scammed during such a vulnerable time feels like ...... well, I'll skip the emotions and metaphors and focus objectively on my experience.

I had an experience very similar to another reviewer, Judy. The scam seems to follow a clear pattern:

Step 1. Initial "Free Chat": A consultation is offered to assess your situation.

Step 2. Request for ID Proof: Documentation is requested to proceed.

Step 3. Payment and Refusal of CVL: After payment is made, you're informed that a CVL is not a viable option for you, with the promise of a refund.

Step 4. Partial Refund After Delays: After chasing them for 4-5 weeks, you receive only a small fraction of the fee paid.

In my case, I paid £3,500 to Jeremy, but only £268 was refunded. This was my hard-earned, post tax money at a difficult time in my life.

When I inquired about the partial refund, I was presented with a "statement of expenses" that charged £398 per hour for various tasks. The listed activities included reading and responding to emails (even administrative ones), generating and correcting invoices (for their own errors), for their inability to download my documents, and replying to my follow-ups about the refund.

To make matters worse, most of these emails contained no substantive information—one email simply stated, "I have nothing to add"—yet it was charged at the same £398+VAT rate. Other emails included stock text like list of documents required.

Here’s an example of the questionable "statement of expenses" they provided:
- Reading and writing emails
- Admin tasks like issuing invoices and correcting their own mistakes
- Speaking to each other
- Emailing each other
- Receptionist answering the phone
- Responding to refund queries

This entire experience was frustrating and exploitative. Proceed with extreme caution if you're considering engaging their services.

EDIT 1:
Seeing Jeremy's response full of half-truths, lies and doxxing attempts reminds me of Shakespeare's line:
'The lady doth protest too much, methinks.'

Frost's Bronze Service MVL was very reasonably priced, less than half our accountants' quote.

I don't know if this is standard practice for simple MVLs (cash in bank, no creditors, no debtors), but Frost's procedure includes distribution of funds to shareholders on the day of appointment, a massive advantage.

The FrostGroup Web site has clear and detailed explanations of the MVL process, backed up as necessary by helpful emails from the team handling our case. They were willing to download our documents from our Google Drive directory, so saving us much effort.

What particularly impressed me was that they replied to emails within a matter of hours, a level of service one rarely finds these days.

All on time, well informed, supportive, guidance provided in writing and on phone. Named contact person available.
