Well, I do like the site a lot, great way to boost views but not to get any community.
Mods and overall ``listening people`` isn't great - have no doubt they doing best.
Like I said above - listening people what they suggest is the way to go, for overall experience (improvements and all).
Its my honest review since I'm on the platform since 1st December 2021.

I've been using fruitlab.com for a while now and I feel that the website is going down hill since the content on fruitlab has been forced by alot of creators since alot of creatores upload reposts and tiktoks just to get the in website currency called "pips" and everyone uploads any unmature and unciviliced content to farm this currency for personnal gains and I also feel that there must be some kind of resterictions in order to keep this community alive this was the first point that I wanted to clear out my second point is about the currency and the store/shop state since the start of this website alot of creators have been putting out alot of heart warming content that deserves some kind of a reward in my opinion but since the new shop awards that are pretty disappointing for alot of people that have been working hard on improving there content and ideas to make there videos more appealing to some audience so I wanted to clear that out and to help improve the rewarding system and for my third and last point is that with all due respect I know that all the Moderators have been working hard on this website but I would actually prefer a site like twitch or youtube since for website like that they have alot of restrictions and great awarding system anyways I'm looking forward for your improvement.

Total waste of time. The team are essentially absentee, and care so little for the site that they basically don't do anything. The content is sub-standard, the very best might feature on other platforms but the vast majority is awful...judging from the standard of comments on said videos the userbase is also awful.

The worst thing is that the Terms of Service mean that any content uploaded no longer belongs to you...that's right, unlike Youtube where you retain some rights, Fruitlab essentially takes total control of all content uploaded. If you have any plans of becoming a successful content creator then Fruitlab is not it.

What is also funny is that the shop is gradually being manipulated to price out everyone...

Best advice, do survey sites or youtube/twitch

UPDATE - Fruitlab flagged this review as illegal almost immediately after posting to silence any form of dissenting opinion. Given this review is now unflagged I think that should indicate which side is the problem (in which case Trustpilot doesn't think I made an inaccurate review of the platform). I shall now be reporting them for abuse of the flagging tools and would strongly recommend any users consider what kind of administration silences all opposing thought.

A site that used to be a good place to generate free site currency which could be redeemed for games. Now it's been mismanaged in an attempt to ride the crypto currency wave. The site staff clamp down on any dissenting opinions, content is bottom tier youtube quality in most cases (there are a few exceptions but as a whole the quality of comments on the site is indicative of the userbase). The only people who really succeed (because of all the pushed promotion) are the small group of site Partners, and the criteria behind their selection is hidden behind favouritism and offsite influence. Beware It's essentially a pyramid structure where the oldest accounts automatically accrue followers and can pick and choose their friends to boost their content...or, the site promotes those who have a large following on other platforms. (And for the super interested do a search of Fruitlab with the usernames of some of the glowing reviews below...coincidence?)

Rather than waste time on Fruitlab perhaps consider doubling down on Youtube.

It used to be a decent way of earning a little credit while watching short clips, mostly of people playing games. Decidedly mediocre stuff, for the most part, but that's besides the point. Eventually, you could exchange this credit for games or gift cards (Steam, Amazon, PS store etc). Nothing crazy, a tenner now and then. Since January the store has been practically dead, all games have been removed and store cards have been perpetually "out of stock", meaning you cannot get anything for the time you invest in Fruitlab. Users are told that they should be "patient" while the site transitions its credit into some sort of "crypto". This has been going on for some five months now. In the "crypto" spirit, the daily credit a regular user could earn by watching clips (i.e. offering traffic to the site) is plummeting (already down from 240 units to 77 within a matter of weeks and it will drop further), meaning it is becoming increasingly difficult to get any reward for the time invested in the site. Meanwhile anyone daring to question the direction the site has taken is immediately verbally attacked, often by "partners" of Fruitlab, while the so-called moderators won't intervene, other that to tell those expressing scepticism about the whole situation to be "patient" and "trust the staff". In practice, for the past 5 months, people have been investing time and getting nothing in return, as evidenced by the avalanche of negative reviews in the totally barren store: the virtual credit cards that were added at some point in March to shore up the dead store were hastily removed and now, when the store is eventually restocked, at some indeterminate point in the future, they plan to remove the lower value cards, meaning (in conjunction with the diminishing number of daily credit) that new users would need to spend an inordinate amount of time in order to get enough credit for whatever will be available at that point. It's a shame, really, but that's where things stand now.

Understand that this is a platform to engage with others who have similar passions, mainly in gaming. Granted, you have the chance to earn a little money on the sideline, but the core of the site is to allow people to connect and share their favorite clips of their gameplays. I appreciate all the staff and users who make the site as friendly and engaging as possible and look forward to new changes.

This site is the best gaming community I have ever been in. This platform allows you to earn money while sharing your gameplay. Great friendly community.

UPDATING REVIEW:

Once a great platform now just a shamble of former glory! Ever since the crypto launch everything has been just a downhill thing. Even as a partner you can't make enough in a month to get a single item...

Changes need to happen fast and clarity has to go out. Nobody knows what is really happening anywhere for the most part.

trash they messed up the website gets worse eveytime

I started with this site for now more than 1 year.
It was a great site at first with great features, you can literally upload your clips that you hit in games and get some extra money to buy a steam gift card etc...
You can ask for the staff to put you in the highlights and it was all fun and games until the site started getting worse and worse day by day.
Despite the fact that I have 4300+ followers, my clips weren't doing much and they were earning little to nothing. The only thing that was paying was the XP that you earn weekly which converts to pips when the pip pot occurs every monday.
However, this feature got ruined and you barely make a dollar per week (keep in mind that I have about 177 XP streak)
The site gives great advantage to their partners and the verified status don't get anything special. They promote you rarely even if you spend time in your clips and make sure they're of good quality which is so selfish.
Last but not least, the shop. At first they updated the shop with many new things that you can buy (It is suspicious that everything in there is from G2A). The prices at first were totally fine and everything is the right price. Then, somehow, everything is ridiculously expensive and you're basically scamming yourself when you order something.
That's what I have to say. Fruitlab, you need to make a change and stop the bs you're doing.
PS: I'm not leaving the site atm and I'll still be uploading but only a clip per day... But who knows, I might leave it for good

Those guys are really nice

I like this platform... I really do. I made an account a few hours ago and I like everything about this platform. I like the videos and how most of it is short and montages, I like how you can actually make money from watching them and by far I like how you can make money from making your own videos! So far I uploaded 8 videos and got about 700 views and 10 followers! This platform is not saturated and I really like that. 10/10 best platform ever

Mods are abusing their power

Every time i say something about this topic, i get banned or deleted. the last time i tried posting this, my review got deleted and like 60 bots posted a 5 star review here. they should fix their mod problem very fast. i have multiple friends who never got the full prize for some reason. the mods make up an excuse not to give you money.
