I started my trading career in 2022, and from the very beginning FTMO was, for me, an example of a reliable prop firm. Compared to many questionable companies in the market, FTMO always seemed to me to be one of the most serious, stable, and professional firms. For a long time, I had a genuinely positive opinion of them and considered them a company with a strong reputation, clear rules, and a transparent approach to traders.

That is why, after several years of learning, practicing, and gaining experience, I created an account with FTMO at the end of 2025. After some time, I became an FTMO funded trader and received a payout. This strengthened my trust in the company even more, because at that moment everything looked fair and professional.

Later, I started going through the evaluation stages again. On April 27, 2026, I successfully completed the second Verification phase and was supposed to receive a $100,000 funded account. But instead, I received an email saying that my account had been permanently blocked and that FTMO had completely terminated its cooperation with me.

FTMO stated the reason as “one-sided betting.” In my opinion, this is a completely unjustified and absurd explanation. My trading is based on positions with a high risk-to-reward ratio — on average from 5R to 10R. I passed both evaluation stages with either one or two positions, and the trades were in different directions. I did not gradually increase the volume of the same position, I did not use excessive risk, and as far as I remember, my risk was approximately 1–2% of the account balance per day. My drawdown during the entire period did not even reach 2-4% on the account.

At the same time, FTMO did not provide me with a clear and specific explanation of which exact trades they considered a violation and why my trading was classified as “one-sided betting.”

What is especially concerning is that this type of blocking seems to be becoming a widespread issue. After my situation, I started reading reviews from other traders and have already seen similar stories: people successfully pass the evaluation stages or show profitable trading, and then face account blocking or rejection under vague wording. This creates a very alarming impression of how the company treats traders who actually demonstrate results.

For me, this situation completely changed my attitude toward FTMO. I used to consider them one of the most reliable prop firms in the market and trusted their reputation for a long time. But after this decision, that trust was completely destroyed. It creates the impression that as long as a trader keeps buying challenges and losing money, there is no problem. But when a trader shows positive results and is supposed to receive a large funded account, they can be blocked under a vague pretext.

I consider this decision unfair and unjustified. My experience shows that even after successfully passing all stages of the evaluation, receiving a previous payout, and following reasonable risk management, a trader is still not protected from a sudden permanent ban without a transparent review of the situation.

Pay good good company

Ftmo is famous and great founded broker. Every things are good and my experience with them is greatly. Them support team are friendly, kindly and give me all the information when I need.

FTMO is now the only prop firm I use and if you want to waist your time with others then don’t say I didn’t warn you. I have been paid over $150000 after less than one year. I’ve been upgraded to 90% profit split. I’ve been given 25% extra on 400k of my 600k so now I have 700k across 4 accounts. I’ve been paid within seconds on many of the payments options and not only that but they Weil message me to make sure I got it and I’ve been sick and spent a lot of time in the hospital lately and didn’t trade and nothing was ever said to me. I’m sad to see the swing accounts go but it’s still 10 stars for me like it was when I wrote my first review. God bless ye. I’ve waisted enough time with others and never again will I bother.
