Lost Package, Zero Accountability - Former Repeat Customer
I've been a loyal customer ordering multiple times without issue until order #14401 ($118.15) was marked "delivered" by USPS but never received. My mailbox is locked—nothing was delivered.
Rather than standing behind their product or filing a carrier claim themselves, Fume's support repeatedly told me to contact USPS and do their job for them. When I escalated and requested either a refund or replacement, they refused, citing "standard procedure."
What happened:
Feb 3: Reported non-delivery, requested replacement
Feb 5: Told to contact USPS myself
Feb 6: Demanded refund/replacement with deadline
Feb 9: Still deflecting responsibility, still no resolution
The problem: Fume chose USPS as their carrier. They have the shipping contract and insurance. Making customers file claims for their fulfillment failures is terrible business practice.
Result: Had to dispute charges with my credit card company. Will never order from Fume again and cannot recommend them. When things go wrong, they abandon you completely.
Recommendation: Find a vendor that actually stands behind their deliveries. Plenty of alternatives exist that treat customers like more than transaction numbers.
