My Experience with FundIndia
I had a disappointing experience with FundIndia.
The process started with the team informing me that my startup had been shortlisted by investors and arranging investor meetings. However, during the meetings, the investor's profile was not shared in advance, and the investor did not have their camera turned on, making it difficult to verify who I was speaking with.
After the meeting, the investor expressed interest and requested certain documents. FundIndia then asked me to pay ₹10,000 for document preparation. Once the payment request was made, communication became very limited, and I did not receive the level of support or follow-up I had expected.
Based on my experience, I would advise other startups to conduct thorough due diligence, ask for transparency regarding investor identities and the overall process, and clearly understand all charges before making any payments.
