Despite looking very promising

Despite looking very promising — nice design, automatic packing, and good marketing — the reality has been constant trouble after trouble.

Sometimes the device packs, but most of the time it does not. For the last six months or so, I have been finishing the job manually: cutting bags myself and tying them by hand. On top of that, there are continuous errors — random issues, the device getting stuck, error during update, and other recurring problems.

In short, the product does not work as it is supposed to.

The final straw was when the unit got stuck during an update. After contacting support, I was sent a device and instructions on how to reflash the memory. I managed to do it only because I repaired computers years ago and am somewhat familiar with flashing firmware.

But what about ordinary customers? What about someone in their 60s? We are not engineers, and we should not be expected to do the manufacturer’s job just to keep the product working.

The last issue was replacement trash bags. They have been sold out for over a week. Where are customers supposed to get them? They are already very expensive, and now they are also unavailable.

After a year and a half, the Furbulous box ended up in the trash.

Goodbye — not so fabulous after all.

Constantly Malfunctions

I purchased the Furbulous as a starter campaign. From the get go, it was constantly in “device failure” and I was having to check on it nearly all the time. Since then my cats have hated the box because it doesn’t clean the litter all the time. The trash box is always “full” (it’s not) and then because it doesn’t always clean, the litter then sticks to the liner at the bottom. I was so excited and wanted to love this thing but it has constantly disappointed and was a huge waste of money.

Absolute trash company and product.

I bought a liter box from them in January. It didn't arrive until April. Upon setting it up it immediately had issues. Contacted the company, they sent a replacement. Same thing for the second one. It is buggy, the app is horrible, the liter box stopped working. I contacted the company for a refund, they said they'd send me a 3rd liter box. I told them this was unacceptable. After a lot of back and forth, they agreed to a refund. It's been 6 days and they sent me a screen shot of where they "refunded" me and yet I haven't seen an actual refund. I contacted PayPal, which I used to complete the purchase for their help... But I will be reporting them on every review site I can. Do not buy this product. If you want an automatic self cleaning liter box get a liter robot 3 or 4.
