Manu and his team did a very good job of listening to our requirements for a large bespoke bedroom wardrobe, which eventually cost £4.5K. They adapted to the builder's delay, and postponed their own start at least twice. Having begun, they completed it in 2½ days. It’s after that, there were some issues! They were a soft-close drawer becoming stiff and failing to function. Then, with full agreement from me, they hadn’t installed all the knobs for the cabinets and drawers. But despite having presumably paid for them, they didn't give me the ones I had paid for, but didn't use. After about 2 weeks, with new bedside tables we wanted them, and I requested them to which the company agreed. Despite repeated requests, pleas and phone calls to follow-up, there was little response despite poor acknowledged aftercare service.

However, I am thrilled to report, this has now all been cleared up and took about 25 minutes of one team member's visit. There were personal reasons for the delay.

Therefore, because the build was such a good experience, I am happy to recommend this company and have upgraded the star to 4.

Fitters were nice. Outcome was amazing. Quality work.

Had the worst experience with this company. The manager initially seemed friendly but it soon became clear that he was only after the money as he became very snarky, dismissive and argumentative. Our installation was completed to a horrible finish, live wire left exposed and parts of the unit are already coming apart. The workers were careless and damaged our flooring upon install. Also there is so much mess from all the glueing they did on our walls, and all effort to get them to fix the issues have been met with dismissal. I wouldn’t recommend this company at all and I am already in the process of taking legal action against them.

I had a Nice experience working with this company. Their design was impeccable, and communication was good. They were attentive to my feedback, making changes promptly and without any hassle.
When I suggested design modifications, the team was eager to implement them after consulting with their office team.

At first, the process seemed promising. The manager was friendly and professional, providing a prompt quote at a very competitive price. Unfortunately, I now realize that you get what you pay for.

When the installers arrived, they were unprofessional—messy and loud throughout the process. They caused significant damage to my walls and skirting, and their attempts to fix it were sloppy at best. Once the wardrobe was installed, I noticed it was left in a dirty and dusty condition, with pencil marks and measurement lines still visible inside where they had cut.

The wardrobe itself is functional but riddled with mistakes that suggest the installer lacks experience. For example, the hanging rods are placed too low, and the drawers are too high, leaving little usable space for hanging clothes. Shorts and trousers don’t fit properly and end up creased because they have to bend at the bottom.

I contacted the manager to address these issues, specifically asking for the rods to be adjusted higher. However, after three months, I’m still waiting for a response or resolution.

Overall, I would not recommend this company. While the price may be tempting, it’s worth investing a little more for someone with the expertise to deliver a wardrobe that is practical, well-finished, and professionally installed.

Wood slats were installed wrongly and uneven. Tv unit was destroyed while it was installed.
Finally they were never on time, and it took them months to finish something that normally takes 2 days.

I was very happy with Manu and his team. They were very reasonably priced and were very quick to install. They were very pleasant to deal with and very hard working. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others!

We are really happy with the wardrobes we got from them. Manu helped us with the design process and sent us a few sketches before we finalised the design. He shared quite a few samples with us to help finalise the colours etc. In terms of the actual installation, the fitters were polite, professional and worked hard to finish the job quickly. We are so pleased with the end result, the wardrobes look great!! I would highly recommend!

Found Furniture Makers on My Builders.com. They sent me pictures and explained the type of materials they would use for the job. I arranged an appointment with them an Manu came to see me, He measured and sketched the type of fitted mirrored wardrobe I needed for my room. When the fitters arrived they were extremely professional and worked quickly. The end result was fantastic. So happy with the results and the outcome. Thank you Furniture Maker job well done.
