Refreshing. Turned up when he said. Did a good job. Didn’t waste time. At a sensible price.

See this guy is a proper professional. Punctual, polite and friendly, he explains everything in simple language for an amateur like me. Prices upfront, no hidden nonsense and the job done is quick time.
Could have charged us more and we'd have paid but he didn't.
Will be using this guy again for sure.

Tim recently worked on an older property that we've just purchased, honestly can't recommend him enough. Reliable, efficient, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. We will definately be recommending to our family and friends and wouldn't hesitate to contact him again for any other electrical work that we need doing.

Fuse box phoned me back after I left a message. He gave me a couple of options as to availability and arrived promptly at the arranged day & time . He gave me an approximate price to sort out what was required and finished the job in a couple of hours - he had brought a selection of items after I had explained the problems — so didn’t have to go and fetch stuff. Great 👍.

Professional, courteous, reliable, honest and fair price, clean and tidy

I had a few electrical items fitted by Tim and thought all was good until I noticed a leak from ducting that was fitted with regards to my inline extractor fan in bathroom. It was leaking from where the ducting fits to the tile vent. The ducting is 6 inch but the adaptor on tile vent is 4 inch and it looks to have just been clamped around with a jubilee clip or cable tie when an appropriate adaptor should have been used for fitting 6 inch ducting to 4 inch plastic adaptor. Tim has no intention of coming back as he has ignored my calls/emails, and when sent a letter recorded/signed for post, as advised by consumer service, Tim has chosen to ignore this also. He made out to his electrical body / regulatory body that the works completed in regards to the ducting were not part of the installation works agreed, and was done for me as a favour. It does not say this in my quote and ducting is required for an inline extractor fan to operate/work correctly as intended.

Truly professional and knowledge service completed on the date and time booked. Also sound advice given. We have no hesitation to reccomend Fusebox Wales and to choose them for any future electric work. Many Thanks

We bless the day I finally found the excellent, concise, clear, informative website of Tim Phillips' 'Fusebox Wales'. We had a small electrical enquiry, regarding a faulty wall light. Previous enquiries with other electricians had us 'let down' (non appearance after pre-arranged appointment or swooning from verbal projections on suggestions of what was causing the fault and how much it might cost.) Tim's website easily pointed us in the right direction. Posting him an enquiry, via the website provided us with an immediate email response. Soon we had an offer of a time&date for him to visit our home. Tim was punctual, courteous and after a thorough inspection of the electrical fault (failed connection to the wall light) came up with what he could do to repair . This even included suggested change to L.E.D lighting , something I had briefly previously considered. In all, he was here at least an hour & 15 minutes (working all that time on the electrics) and we were more than satisfied by the cost and service. He even emailed later to check on our satisfaction with his work. Yes, a trusty & reliable Electrician, the customer knows, if needed, they will totally employ again!
