Two guns were bought in a 4 month period.
FX Dreamline classic had a fault with the safety catch which could not be repaired by the dealer.
I asked for my money back which I spent on an FX King in laminate.
This is woefully underpowered. Sub 12 it is firing an 18 grain pellet at 503 FT/sec which I estimate to be 10% down on speed for that weight. So this time I am returning the gun to FX with fingers crossed that it comes back with the ability to actually kill something.
Shame about the quality as their designs are great. This looks like rapid expansion due to popularity and success without quality being controlled.

Over the last three months I have had three FX airguns. First was purchased from a UK air gun shop, which was second hand. It failed within an hour of the purchase due to trigger failure.

So I went back and purchased the brand new version of the same gun - Crown MK2 at a cost of 1400 pounds. Again within an hour of ownership, I found that the magazine wouldn’t fit. So went back to the authorised retailer who adjusted the chamber to allow the magazine to fit.

A week later the trigger failed, so back to the shop again for it to be rectified. Then another week later the safety mechanism failed, allowing the gun to fire with the safety on! Which could have been fatal! So back to the shop again for repair.

After this as you can imagine I just couldn’t get on with the gun anymore as I had no faith in it. Stupidly I part exchanged it against a new FX wildcat MK3 at a cost of 1450 pounds. In the space of 8 weeks I lost 700 pounds on the gun against px.

However shock again, the new Wildcat failed within an hour, again the magazine wouldn’t fit.
This time I went back to the shop and got a complete different gun from BRK.

I raised my concerns with FX and got a really, poor response from their approved UK authorised distributor, saying the faults with the guns is caused by delivery drivers and the gun being bounced about. I find this hard to believe as they all come in a foam compacted hard case which stops them from moving.

Furthermore none of my other 6 airguns have had these problems. Take my advice, avoid this brand at all costs with poor customer service and cheap quality guns.

FX airguns warranty horrible
I owned a few FX airguns never had a problem but I recently bought a Panthera it came damaged and contacted FX. They said they will send replacement parts, that was 3 months ago no parts. I m in USA, FX headquarter in near by.

I have owned FX airguns for 20 years.
I own several of them still and they are my favorite airguns. They are always on the cutting edge of innovation. They make an incredibly high quality product. Their customer service is top notch.

Absolutely amazing guns.
Such an accurate gun out of the box.
Superb support and customer service.
Highly recommend buying an FX airgun
