Order returned by customs due to FYSETC's incomplete declaration — No refund issued
I placed Order #FOW6660-A on July 25th, 2026 for a PEI Sheet for Creality K1 Max (315×310mm, one side PEI powder coating, other side smooth). Payment was completed via credit card at the time of purchase. Here is a factual summary of what happened:
The order remained locked with the status "Confirmed — Preparing for shipping" for 17 days with zero dispatch confirmation or tracking updates provided.
After I reached out via email requesting an update, I received a tracking number that subsequently showed no movement for approximately two weeks.
When the package finally arrived in Brazil and entered the customs screening system, it was immediately blocked by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal do Brasil) with the official status: "Import Not Authorized — Insufficient/Incomplete Description."
The customs authority officially determined that the Import Declaration for Remittance (DIR) submitted by FYSETC lacked mandatory product details (species, commercial brand, model, and proper commercial name), making fiscal identification impossible under Brazilian customs regulations (Portaria COANA nº 82/2017 and Portaria COANA nº 81/2017). Consequently, the package was ordered returned to sender.
This failure is 100% FYSETC's responsibility. Submitting a generic or incomplete customs declaration is a severe compliance failure for an international merchant selling abroad.
I never received the item, and the package is currently on its way back to China. I have formally requested an immediate full refund.
Core Issue: FYSETC failed to provide adequate customs documentation for an international shipment, which directly caused the parcel to be rejected and returned by customs authorities. In addition, order processing was excessively delayed and customer communication was slow.I cannot recommend FYSETC to international customers — especially those in Brazil — until they overhaul their customs documentation process and take international trade requirements seriously.I will update this review if FYSETC resolves the refund promptly.
