Love this App!!! Essential for glucose management.

Love this App! It has been a game changer for me. It's like diving under water for the first time and seeing a whole new world. It has been instrumental in helping me convert from Tresiba to Lanus (per insurance coverage). Gives me a good picture of what actually going on rather than just an occasional look via fingers stick BG's.
Pros:
The 30-minute warmup is fantastic compared to previous versions.
Accuracy is good, but as a retired lab manager I can say reproducibility is better than accuracy.
Love the array of alarms and charts/reports available on Clarity
Cons:
Adhesive issues are significant but expected. I lost my first sensor @ 24 hours. Since then I have used a cut of section of a sock to hold the sensor "lightly". The heal section makes a good bubble for the sensor. I also wrap my arm with cling wrap when showering. Seems to solve the issue.
Cost is significant but worth it! My Medicare pays for most of it.
The little reciever that comes with the kit works but is entirely unnecessary if using the cell/computer app and Clarity.
I noticed some people complain about the alarms but I love them. I take 2.5 mg glipizide to minimize my peaks and the alarms are "essential". They (of coarse) can be customized and silenced for 6 hours of sleep. That's plenty for me but I know some people require more.
