I ordered a Canon Eos 5D Mark IV plus 24-105 zoom lens for which I paid £2,199. An amazing price but the site looked so professional that I fell for it. The kit was shown as "in stock" and they promised 3-5 working days delivery, with notification of dispatch and tracking info. THAT'S WHEN THE WORLD FELL APART! after six days I called them four times. No reply. After 8 days, I sent an email. No reply. After 11 days, I sent another email. No reply. Then I contacted the bank (Lloyds). I explained what had happened and provided copies of the receipt plus my emails. They said that they would sort it and, sure enough, the money was back in my account within 48 hours. I consider myself very lucky in that I paid with my credit card and, so, was covered by the bank. There must be a lot of folk out there that have lost a lot of money! DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THESE ROBBERS!!!!

please conact your bank to proceed for a refund, I did the same and got it back

Absolutely don't buy from gabbys camera site it is an absolute con ordered a Canon l series lens 10 days ago hasn't turned up yet so I assume that they are riping customer of taking payment's for things that they advertise on their website and then don't deliver the goods absolutely dam right con

Sadly didn't see any of these reviews at the time of ordering my item. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE, IT DOESN'T EXIST.

Ordered a camera from here, still haven’t received it ,I had an email to say it was on its way, I should have had a tracking number within 2 days of ordering but I’ve had nothing ,no reply to email .
After reading these reviews I beginning to think I’m not going to get it

luckily my bank was able to refund me £1750 i spent on camera equipment, this is a complete scam that somehow Google has not been able to take down, registered address to a church in essex and totally bogus. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I was just about to put my details in to purchase a 1DX Mkii. Fortunately they made a mistake of not giving me a click count. They did email me with an offer to complete my purchase but then something caught my eye. They are called Gabbys Cameras. At the Bottom of their page is said gabbyscameras which I saw as gabby(scam)era. I put this to them but they have not responded. Dodged a bullet there I believe.

I tried to purchase a camera only to find they went radio silent. and will not give a delivery date. Their company details are very suspect. The trustspot reviews seem odd as the dates of all of them are all within a few days

I ordered a camera, then changed my mind upon reading reviews here and also reviews on trustspot.io which seemed to be dubiously inflated. Within 10 minutes of placing the order I emailed them to cancel. For some reason, it is impossible to speak with them by phone. I sent a 2nd email to cancel, but this they ignored and dispatched the camera regardless. This company is highly suspect IMO - how can they offer such low prices? How can they claim to offer a 3 year warranty - longer than the manufacturer's?

I stupidly ordered a camera before I had read all the reviews and did some research. I’m now £2000 out of pocket...and no, the credit card companies do not always refund you. The facts are...according to companies house Gabbys is registered at an address in London which is actually a hotel. There are no company premises or storage facilities. The company owner is Romanian. If you are fortunate enough to receive your purchase it will come from Hong Kong. There is no phone number listed, the web chat doesn’t work and you will NEVER get a reply to your emails. Some good advice is ‘if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.’ The next step for me is some legal advice.

I was poised to buy from here but was suspicious of the price (25% cheaper than even manufacturer) and address is registered to a hotel in East London (!).
I did use the chat box to ask Gabby questions. She referred to the hotel as a "complex" that they work from (with storage elsewhere), and told me (twice) that if goods did not turn up I would be covered by my bank or credit card insurance. I gave her plenty of opportunity to reassure but nothing about the business gave me any confidence to purchase.

Beware of this website Gabbys Camera Store gabbys.co.uk / none of the information on their website is accurate! The postcode is of a different place and the name of the location is mistaken on purpose! Also all of the reviews on a different platform than TrustPilot are 5 stars and offer 3 years on most products (canon, nikon etc) when the suppliers do not even offer 2!
