Gabrielle James Chairmakers made two bar stools for my new kitchen. The product is amazing - height bespoke to fit my high breakfast bar; fabric that perfectly goes with my overall kitchen design and favoured style, wood picked to match our new wooden floor and the oak breakfast bar, sturdy, hard wearing and looking fantastic. Also extremely comfortable with good back support- which was important for me. The service provided by Gabrielle James Chairmakers is also outstanding. Felicity came to the house with samples, promptly send me a quote and then returned with finished products on time six weeks later. I would highly recommend the company for both product and service. All of the family love the stools and use them.

This British company is highly recommended for classic and stylish designs (I have the Ella chairs and Turner bar stools) that you can put your spin on with bespoke fabrics. I was impressed with the high end and personal service, right down to the aftercare kit (which came with a chocolate treat!), and I am delighted with the quality and the way my living space looks and feels. Very pleased with the purchase of two bespoke chairs for our kitchen island. The ordering process was flawless, Felicia was absolutely brilliant answering questions and guiding me through all possible options. The outcome is two gorgeous chairs that are comfortable and pleasure to look at. The chairs were delivered in person by Felicia’s lovely daughter along with care instructions, spare parts and paint. Although Gabriella James is not cheap this is because the fabrics, manufacturing, finishing, customisation, service, customer experience, communication, promptness of delivery and the personal delivery by Felicity is simply irresistibly excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for this great British company in the pursuit of delivering a great quality product. My choice of fabric, trim and even the production of anti-macassar’s were all considered, and an unstinting wealth of advice offered to me, all designed to leave me with the chairs I had hoped for and needed. My kitchen has been transformed by my four Luxury Ella Bar Stools. They look absolutely stunning, they are incredibly comfortable to sit on and I’m over the moon with them.

I am thrilled with my Turner stools as are the rest of my family. The jewel-like button cushion is beautifully upholstered & the craftsmanship on the turned legs remind me of all the great British furniture makers I learnt about in furniture history at university. I love them.

Felicity even hand delivered the chair herself – all the way to Sheffield! The chair is beautifully made and upholstered. We recently bought a bespoke Ella barstool for our kitchen and chose a fabric with a large print. Felicity was brilliant at answering questions on how they would site the placement of the pattern on the stool and the end result is stunning. We are so delighted with it. Production was very speedy and it was delivered in person by Felicity.
