Our apologies for the delay in answering your request to cancel your policy. I have looked into this for you and I can see your policy renewed on 03/11/2020 and you had emailed us on the 04/11/2020. This was actioned yesterday and we emailed at 15:01 confirming the cancellation and that you will be receiving a full refund as you stated it was in the 14 day period.
The refund is with our accounts team and you will have the monies cleared back to your account with 14 days.

Worst customer service when it come to…
Worst customer service when it come to making a claim. I provided everything proof of purchase, proof of usage everything they kept telling me they having received no proof due to their email not working. When I called I spoke to someone who told me they received all the proof and will be looking around for a phone give us 12 hours only to be told again we havent received no proof.they try to use all sort of excuse to refuse the claim. Why I changed the proof of usage file name wich I explained to 4 different people over the phone and by email.asked to complain and they took my complain and just put it on the side.im planning to take it to the ombudsman to deal with my case as gadget cover think its OK to collect my premium and not fulfill as promised on their website 2 days for claims to be processed. U just replied we gonna investigate contact us. how can the same team investigate themself it should be an independent body investigating you.

Easy to setup, had a duplicate policy created in error which was quickly sorted by a pleasant lady at customer service. Fingers crossed won’t need to speak to them till my renewal time

I have looked into this for you and the reason for the decline is due to the phone not being in use since 4 days before your policy was taken out. As defined in the Terms and Conditions of your policy Proof of usage – means evidence that the gadget has been in use since policy inception.
We apologise that you have not had the outcome you were expecting and I can see that you have cancelled the policy within your free period.

I took out the £15pm cover on my iPhone…
I took out the £15pm cover on my iPhone 11. I smashed my screen, started a claim, sent in proof of usage and proof of purchase, and a week later despite me making 2 phone calls and 4 emails to gadget cover, I’ve still not heard anything at all back from gadget cover whether I have a valid claim or not. And I’ve still got a broken phone.
My experience leads me to believe that they just ignore you when you need to claim.
I’m going to cancel the policy and go to Apple direct, as the 12x £15pm plus the £100 excess I’d have paid gadget cover for the policy is similar to apples £300 screen replacement that would be done in 24h.
Edit after reply from gadget cover- thanks for the reply. Agreed, it was early on in the cover, that’s why I was just hoping for a response either way to see if I was covered or not so I could move forward with getting my phone repaired one way or another.
It’s booked in on Tuesday with the Apple store, so I’ll follow that route now, but thanks again for the reply.... I don’t know why no one has emailed me since last week, but on here I have got a response in minutes lol.... 👍
