We trust GAdventures to take us to countries that we would not visit on our own.Great guides and very interesting itineraries!
Most Incredible Adventure of my Life!
What made this experience so great is that it was so much more than just a trip it was a real adventure. The company isn’t just booking hotels and a few excursions; they are creating fully immersive experiences that truly make the most of your time in each country. What they are doing especially well is bringing culture to life. From the big moments like excursions to the smaller, meaningful stops where we learned how people live, create, and connect those were the moments that made this trip unforgettable. Getting to meet locals, hear their stories, and experience things beyond the surface is something no other travel company I’ve experienced has been able to offer.
They are doing what many travel companies can’t creating real connections between people and places. It’s not just about seeing a destination, it’s about feeling it. And that’s something I will carry with me forever.
A mixed bag
I did two tours of South Korea back-to-back. The South Korea Explorer was absolutely fabulous (fully recommend this one). Personally, I found The Best of South Korea underwhelming overall although I thoroughly enjoyed Busan and the DMZ/Remembrance Museum were moving/fascinating (for those in the group who knew little about the division of the country and subsequent war it might have been better to have been to the War Memorial before visiting the DMZ ).
Sadly, having done these two tours, it has become evident that GAdventures are aiming to entice two clear brackets of clientelle - those that they feel have time/more disposable income - the under 40's and the over 70's. Sadly, as I no longer meet the criteria of the former and had to use their Classic tours, I found that these tours have been adapted on 'health and safety' grounds (read ageism adjustments). The assumption is that older clients are clearly incapable (or lazy) - private buses have replaced city walking, gentle boating has been chosen over canoeing - even the over 70's on the tours with me were frustrated by the lack of choice. It is a shame as GAdventures was always my go to for these tours but I will now have to look elsewhere or choose countries that I feel more comfortable travelling independently.
The best there is!
A truly caring company with a super fun and professional product offering time and again!
Long time G traveller.
Long time G traveller.
270 days travelling with G across 17 trips - I guess that says it all about how great I think this company is.
Travelled from Hoi An in Vietnam…
Travelled from Hoi An in Vietnam through Cambodia finishing in Thailand. Had a fantastic time, saw some amazing places and made new friends from around the world. Our journey with G Adventures was made easy by having a CEO to coordinate everything and being a go to no matter what the query might be and by awesome local guides who were knowledgeable and lots of fun.
Paris to Budapest!
G adventures allowed me and the group I was with to make memories that will last for a lifetime and I could never thank them enough for that! Our guide Wael made us feel at home wherever we went and put in so much effort to ensure we had the best time we possibly could!
Excellent trip
Excellent trip which gave a great flavour of turkey. Our guide Elif was exceptional, very informed, helpful and kind
Absolute value
Absolute value! Great guides. Well planned schedules. Be prepared to walk. Be prepared to cover a lot of territory! Just the best economy introduction to every place I’ve been. GAdventures explorer for life!!
A lifetime traveling with G!
I've been traveling with G Adventures since I was in my early 20's (I'm 55+ now.). I still remember Maria and walking through Tuscany, my first trip. Every trip has been memorable, and I always meet wonderful people who value the experiences more than having lots of things. Go with G, you'll enjoy the journey and the people you meet along the way!
We had the best group😄
We had a great group!
It was a very funny and interesting time together.
A wonderful adventure with G Adventures!
Really enjoyed my trip with G Adventures, starting in Tokyo and through to Hokkaido. We spent plenty of beautiful nature time in the wilds of Hokkaido, and were well looked after by our awesome tour guide. Great engagement with G Adventures on booking, in the lead up, and through the trip itself. Will definitely book through them again!
Truly a trip of a lifetime!
Truly, a trip of a lifetime! We got an appreciation for the Moroccan culture and gained so much knowledge. Our CEO, Ali, was an incredible ambassador for G Adventures and the Moroccan people. Can't express how much I loved our trip!
Annapurna sanctuary Route Ashok is the best
I did the Annapurna sanctuary route with G adventures and had the most incredible experience. Ashok Was an absolutely fantastic guide, he has a very warm calming presence which made me feel very safe and well looked after. His personality matched well with our assurance Roheet who was fun. Ashok gave us lots of local insights and was clearly very proud to be Nepalese, it was wondering to learn about his country through him. The route was beautiful through lush valley , forests and mountain villages as well the day at Annapurna base camp where you’re really in the mountains. Thank you G adventures for a great trip. Ri
South Korea tour
Very well organised tour. Jam packed schedule so nothing important is missed. Maybe a bit too much in too short a time?
Well-informed tour guide.
Accommodation adequate.
G Adventures great but not really a "small group" experience
Have always loved G Adventures, have taken 10 trips with them all over the world. However, their group size has steadily increased over the years so that I would no longer call it a "small group" experience. They need to go back to their original model in order to keep my business.
G-Lux is 100% worth the investment
G-Lux is 100% worth the investment, the Inca Trail in style was out of this world, meals and tips included and the Country of Peru explored sustainably.
Exceptionally well organised trip
Exceptionally well organised trip, everything ran like clockwork. Our CEO was outstanding and was very knowledgeable about Costa Rican culture and wildlife. Our group of 14 people were all very like minded and we gelled well. I absolutely loved it!
Best way to see Antarctica
Best way to see Antarctica! Hands down, skip the bigger boats and have an authentic journey to the 7th continent. The staff was fantastic, food was top notch, and the small group experience could not be any better. Already planning my next G Adventure!
Always 10 out of 10 and honest about their tours.
I love the adventures and after having a little 9 year break I'm back but overall I've been traveling with them since 2013 and have more tours under my belt than I can count and would recommend them to anyone and have. In fact my last tour I brought along someone that had never done one before and were already planning our next one! Morocco was amazing and I plan to revisit more extensively. 😁
