I visited the GAIL's in Covent Garden…
I visited the GAIL's in Covent Garden (Long Acre) and was shocked by the lack of value. I paid £4.50 for a coffee that was served in a tiny, handleless cup that was barely a few sips. To make matters worse, I wasn't even offered a choice of sizes, the staff just charged me a premium price for the smallest possible portion.
When a shop combines high prices with a total lack of transparency and an unfriendly vibe, it feels less like a bakery and more like a tourist trap. This "luxury" pricing doesn't match the service or the product. It’s a complete waste of money, and given the exclusionary atmosphere I felt, I definitely won’t be back. Save your money and go to one of the many independent shops nearby that actually value their customers. NEVER AGAIN!
Never again
First and last time in Gail's at Chelmsford
Poor staff ( bad attitude ) pricey for tough bread

Worst coffee ever
Coffee is treatable and the price is completely a joke.
They smartly open at a posh street but the price and taste didn’t match
A child want hot chocolate which cost £3.80 it was too hot for a child and it wasn’t very nice, they asked my child if she want dark chocolate’s that was wired to ask a child purely to add price
The coffee is the worst coffee so posh people why do you hi there?
The cafe looks great simple and cute deco, is that why
I only go there few times because there are no other normal coffee place. I had breakfast before it was not good
I had croissant that was ok
And I always say I won’t go but if we come early to school or want to meet the mums that’s the only place to go near the school.
I don’t get the fuss about it, the only thing is if the price match the taste then it’s ok. If the cup is regular size ok
If the posh description of coffee and tea match the service and taste it’s ok.
Frankly it’s only a look they sell I feel the customers don’t care coz they are rich
