I’m disgusted by the service I…

I’m disgusted by the service I received, yesterday (Saturday 24th may). I arrived at the store way before the caucasian woman, and the young Caucasian man serving behind the till knew that. Yet, he chose to serve her first. Please bear in mind the server had seen me come in before her. The woman herself had to speak up and say I was there before her. Completely unacceptable and humiliating.

I do not tolerate racial discrimination. I will never return. Shame on you. Disgusting.

He didn’t even apologise, horrible experience.

Yes, I am keen and I have filed a complaint. Thank you!

Wednesday 1.30om Crouch End

Wednesday 1.30om Crouch End
I ordered a coffee to drink in. I was NOT asked my name.
As l was waiting for my coffee, a couple of drinks were waiting for a customer to pick up the drinks.
I asked if she could clarify what the drinks were. She closed her eyes as if she was about to burst. She then turned to me and said I will call out the name of the person who ordered it.
I was absolutely stunned and shocked.
I said, well how funny because I was NOT asked my name. I said please don’t be rude about a situation where you clearly didn’t follow whatever system you have agreed to as a business and back down and apologise when wrong’.
The staff are absolutely miserable. Should not be customer facing if you’re that unhappy

DISGUSTING slimey sausage rolls these days

So depressing how poorly catered for Londoners have become when eating outside home. Today I went into Gail's in Crouch End, bought 3 things, and asked to eat one on the spot in spite of being in a hurry, because I was so hungry (no breakfast). In spite of my hunger, the sausage roll was very largely discarded apart from pastry - it was DISGUSTING. Reminded me of a Wimpy (remember the 'sliders'), or a Scotch Pie from my youth with SLIME between the pastry and the "meat" which was exactly the same mush that english sausage rolls used to have in the old days (and probably still do) when I could tolerate such. I asked the manageress if they had changed their supplier and she said no, which I took to be a lie - absolutely NO comparison whatsoever with the glorious sausage rolls Gails used to make. I'll never be hungry enough to go there again. I refused her offer of a refund, so that I wouldn't feel obliged to keep quiet.

Gail's crouch end avoid

Unfortunately not all Gail's shop have the same quality of food and service. I usually do not have issues with Gail's but today I ordered a flat white and a salmon bagel at crouch end shop and the bagel was stale. So I asked the staff if the bages were baked today and they confirmed that it was baked in the morning. They did not show any interest in my question anyway. Quite frankly either that was not true or the bagel had a strange dough different compared to the one I can find the other shops. 12 pounds wasted.
