The interest rate was attractive

The interest rate was attractive, though the advertized 5.2% for 3 years ended up being 5.1%. Odd that a contract showing the guaranteed rate did not appear until days after funds were transferred. I got verbal commitment before funding, but I'd think there should be some sort of written commitment before money starts moving.

What is the worst thing that can happen?

I have always been afraid of any annuity financial product mostly due to the general negativity from most of the so-called knowledgable people that I read about. But now that I have discovered that having a closed mind on about any subject can prevent you from becoming a better investor I have decided to explore annuities more. After doing some research I have decided to buy a few at Gainbridge with money from my discretionary fund. So far I have been impressed with what I see. If financial diversity is important to you then I recommend looking into these instruments. No fee and low risk is always a great option.

I was very pleased to find gainbridge.com. The FastBreak product meets my needs exactly. Customer service is always helpful and responsive.
Adding Primary and Contingent beneficiaries is not as intuitive as some, but works.

Complete the whole Process on website.

The application is easy to complete on the website. This is my 2nd time to get a Fast Break contract. I
love the fact that I don't have to sit down with an agent.
I can independently complete the whole process from start to finish.

Good option for higher yield and deferred income

For the most part it was an easy process. I had questions and spoke to a representative who was very helpful.The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars was that funding took a little too long.

Try, Compare, make a conclusion !!!

People had told me about Gainbridge. I decided to give it a try. I bought an annuity from Gainbridge and another from Prudential (which some of my friends really liked). I will see how everything goes over the next 10 years as I compare everything about the 2 companies and I will let everyone know what I discover from owning both.
