I visited the Gallery in March 2025…
I visited the Gallery in March 2025 expecting to find, perhaps, a large shop with one artist painting at the back.
I was amazed at the size and wonder. Like walking into Narnia - everywhere I turned there was more magic and wonder.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get better I met Sarah: curator, artist, host, and a delightful person, who made me welcome and pointed me to the free coffee. I sat and marvelled at my surroundings: the extraordinary art in the gallery and the beautiful art of the natural world that surrounds the building.
There was so much to see: paintings, sculptures, jewellery - there was even the Mona Lisa in the toilet (I think it was on loan!)
And the work is for sale. There is something for every budget. I could have spent a lot of money if I could have easily got the work back to the UK. As it was I bought some gifts for family and a small sculpture to remind me of my visit.
Every time I see Galleri Artexpo on Facebook I am transported back to that extraordinary day in that beautiful setting, full of wonder and beautiful people.
If I could give it more than 5 Stars I would!
