Gamer Tech have had my mixer since July 2025 - despite numerous tries to contact them I still don't have a fix or a way to get my mixer returned. Do not use this company under any circumstances.

Dreadful service
Dreadful service, poor communication and unable to provide updates.
This company had had a piece of equipment for 7 weeks to date and not repaired or retuned the item Chased by multiple emails and phone calls (although as per other reviews can never get through). Managed to speak to someone today, and apparently I have to wait for another email....
Happy to change this review if they do indeed get back to me, however I won't hold my breath.
This has to be one of my worst…
This has to be one of my worst experiences in trying to contact this company and to get my product back
They were very quick to respond to my enquiry in the beginning with a very reassuring phone call from a lady called Charlie.
Since receiving my product they have not been in contact and I have given up waiting in their phone que
All I wanted was my product back without repair and after numerous hour long phone calls I have given up and decided to write this review.
Nintendo Hinge Crack: A month wait but fully restored. Thank you!
Company were friendly and responsive prior to sending off my console to repair. Have asked for multiple updates since they received my console as they advised 10 working days turnaround. No update on repairs for almost three weeks (and counting…).
Update: Managed to get hold of them today and explained they are slightly behind with repairs, promised an update from the technician as soon as possible. Fingers crossed! Lovely lady on the phone seemed reassuring.
Completed: Received my 3DS back today after a long wait. I appreciate that there is only one repairer who can repair these consoles. It has come back repaired fully, with an apology from Charlie. I think if you appreciate that some of these older consoles are niche nowadays, then you will be fine. To be fair, this is the only company who got back to me and actually repaired the issue to a high standard. Would definitely use again. Thank you GamerTech Repairs! Would definitely use for “retro” consoles, but expect a bit of a wait. Overall, very happy.

Somethings wrong with Gamer-tech at the moment , used to be great, but over the last couple of weeks very slow, been on hold as number 4 in queue for 1.5 hours now, and not replying emails. So not sure whats happening - I would advise checking before using.
Quick fix at GamerTech
Called into GamerTech at James St. this morning with my son as his iphone wasn’t charging properly. Lovely friendly welcome and a quick clean of charging port in workshop. All sorted and thank you for the quick fix.
Great service
Me and my partner used this company for our son’s switch and my iPad. They both required charging port repairs. This was done in the time frame they said and was kept up to date.
We recommend gamer tech and we no doubt will be using again soon as we have 3 boys all with devices.
Thank you gamer tech
Thank you!
Just had my sat nav repaired here, they replaced the battery and got it back to me working flawlessly.
3ds taken and no updates/response as to progress on its repair
They have been holding my 3dsxl for over a month now without any response as to its repair status, and have ignored an email from me asking about it for a week. This is despite them claiming it would only have a turnaround time of a week or two. Starting to think I might not ever see it again, nor the £35 I paid up front for it to be looked at.
Refused Refund Owed
After an electrical storm fried my PS5 I contacted Gamer Tech and they advised it sounded like a motherboard problem. They went on to say that if they were unable to repair they would refund the difference between the MB Repair cost (£149.99) and the Inspection cost (£34.99). It is now three months later and I am still waiting for the £115 I am owed. Despite numerous emails and calls have had no response from them. I have now contacted my CC company and if that fails I will take them to court.
Great service
Great service, always walk in, repaired 3 ipad screens in the past but repaired charging port on my phone, quick and easy, thank you!
AVOID!
Gamer tech repaired my son’s iPad charging port and in doing so, damaged the LCD screen. When we received the iPad back, the screen looked crinkled and warped. I took photos and sent them to Gamer Tech who agreed to remedy the situation. The iPad was returned to them but they then stated that they take no responsibility for the damaged screen as I cannot prove that it wasn’t already damaged! I assured them it was not and that it was obvious what had happened as they needed to remove the screen to fix the port! They refused to repair the damage and sent me back the iPad with damaged screen. Please avoid this company. I now have to pay over £200 to get the screen replaced and will NEVER use Gamer Tech again.
Game tech scammers
Rang game tech time and time again to find out what’s going on with my ps4 as I sent it to be inspected as I was having problems with it the power system kept flashing off all the time when I rang them to find out what wrong they said my hard drive as had it and as blown it’s losing you storage and said I need a new hard drive which was £75 but they where telling me to go and have a 1TB put in as it will give you more storage which cost me £90 rang me 10 mins later saying it’s done came back from delivery today and the power on the ps4 is worse than what it’s worth when I sent it to themit they’ve conned me as it don’t feel right
Scammers!!!! AVOID!
Poor service. I had to arrange (& pay) upfront for my repair for my switch due to not charging. I was already reluctant however paid for this service. The following day (before sending my device for repair) my switch started to charge so I cancelled the service. I was then informed I was only entitled to a partial refund as they had already paid for a courier who hadn’t carried out any service!!!! This wasn’t pointed out in advance. Overall poor misleading service!!!
Gamer Tech Review
Gamer Tech Review
Beware of using this company as they have just scammed me. I trusted them with the repair of my iPod touch, cost price £269.95. The cost for them to repair this item with a new battery was £59.95 which I paid and received a pre paid label to post it to them via DPD.
DPD picked up the parcel the same day but two days later it appeared that there was a problem which eventually turned out that they had lost the parcel in their system.
That was in November 2023, since them I have had to email them 18 times in total and have made 11 follow up telephone calls as the emails on the whole went without them replying to them. After the time in which they were allegedly waiting for DPD to confirm that the parcel was lost they allegedly submitted a claim for compensation to them. After the stated up to 8 weeks as per their terms and conditions I waited a further 2 weeks but heard nothing back from them.
In line with their terms and conditions I submitted a formal complaint to Customer Services with a copy and covering letter to the Gamer Managing Director at Gamer Tech. These went unanswered so I submitted a further copy of the complaint to a senior manager, again this went without any action or a reply.
What followed after this was a series of telephone calls I had to make to find out what was happening. I was told during these calls that they were waiting for DPD, then they eventually said DPD had settled the claim, they told me they were looking for a suitable replacement. When I chased things up again I was told no replacement was suitable for them to supply to me. When I asked what would happen next they said they would pay me compensation into my Paypal account. Despite sending 3 emails to them I I have not received any compensation or received a reply to any of my emails.
In the absence of any correspondence or any positive action to resolve this matter I can only conclude that this whole fiasco has been a scam. In addition the Gamer Tech terms and conditions are a work of fiction that have been deliberately fabricated to mislead customers as in this case nothing contained in them actually happens.
Examples of this is that in their policies they say:
“ Complaints are rare, but we take them seriously, so we have a complaints policy and process we follow to make sure things are put right where needed and we learn from your feedback”.
2. “Why choose us?. Customer satisfaction is our priority”
3. “Our priority is for you to be completely satisfied with the service you receive from us. We run a professional business, so we aim for the highest standards in everything we do”.
None of these statements are true so you should AVOID, AVOID, AVOID Gamer Tech.
To date apart from the excessive amount of time spent seeking updates as to what is happening with this matter over a period of 30 weeks it has cost me £59.99 for Gamer Tech’s partner DPD to lose my iPod which originally cost me £269.95. If Gamer Tech as they say successfully received settlement from DPD, then where is the compensation they received along with my £59.99 for a repair that never happened?
They will charge even if they can't fix the item.
Emailed Gamer tech describing the issue with my original PS3, the customer service rep emailed me suggesting which repair service would apply. Paid £60 for the recommended repair service and sent off the PS3. Gamer tech examined and attempted to repair the PS3, establishing it was something else completely that would have cost £350 and needing myself to outsource the parts.
Gamer tech therefore refunded me £25 and sent my unrepairable PS3 back.
### JUST USE CEX'S REPAIR SERVICE WHERE THEY WILL ONLY CHARGE IF THEY HAVE FIXED THE ITEM. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GAMERTECH ###
Great service thank you.
I was a little worried at first since I trusted a company that I never heard of before and a slight delay, however I understand when companies are busy and can’t help it being slightly longer than expected. However I did receive payment very swiftly and was happy with the service provided. I will definitely be more than happy to use this company again and at least I know if I either need to sell a product or get something fixed it will be handled with care. Would rather use a smaller company than greedy big companies such as cash converters.
I don’t recommend this company at all
I don’t recommend this company at all. They diagnosed my console over a text message and gave me a price to fix it. I paid the money and as expected, they said there was a different issue and it would cost extra. I foolishly agreed and then they tell me the repair has been unsuccessful. They then send me back my console which now shuts off 2 seconds after I turn it on. Basically it’s in a worse state now than when I sent it off. Avoid these clowns at all cost
Absolutely outstanding service
Absolutely outstanding service, phoned and emailed all the way through the repair. I literally cannot think how they could improve on thier service! Thanks very much guys!
Couldn't have been better!
Emailed them asking for a quote on a repair for a fault on my Xbox One where the disc would be accepted, but not read (insert disc message appeared). They suggested it would be a laser problem on the disc drive, and I could drop it in the following morning given I was local.
Less than an hour after dropping it off, it had been repaired and was ready for collection. The whole experience has been spot on. I got home and the console works perfectly, and it didn't cost an arm and a leg to fix.
Thank you all - you couldn't improve on the service I received.
