The Keeper Bobblehead Review

Recently i got The Keeper Bobblehead figure from The Evil Within and it's fantastic! The figure is incredibly detailed and it has some good weight to it as well. Additionally it's much taller than the average Bobblehead which is great to see. Overall its a quality product.

When it comes to the service its actually surprising to see that most reviews are negative. In my case the transaction was very smooth with quick shipping and great packaging. I do recommend the store and they gave very good customer service.

I woke up on the first day of jak 3…

I woke up on the first day of jak 3 statues pre orders. Ordered 2 exclusive and 2 regular statues.

A few days ago I emailed asking for an update to when they will ship and asked why there is “tax” if I have to pay customs once the statues enter Canada? Instead of getting clarification they proceeded to cancel all 4 of my statues. When I asked why they did that the customer service stopped replying to my emails. Awful company.

Stay away, website is prone to bugs and their customer service is extremely rude! They'll charge you for lost orders!

I'm a big fan of collecting useless junk and I'm willing to part with my hard earned cash if it means getting something cool, over expensive or not. It was with that mindset that I bought a statue from Gaming Heads.

I purchased a Femshep Mass Effect statue. However, apparently they didn't have it in stock so they refunded me the full amount. Okay, cool, these things happen.

Skip ahead one month, and Gaming Heads customer service contact me saying that they accidentally sent me a statue meant for someone else and that they want me to return it. Okay, cool, I'll return it, except I never received the statue or any other package from them.

Skip ahead two months and multiple emails of me explaining that I never received the package. Gaming Heads contact the courier, DHL. Okay, they'll put in a claim for lost goods. Well, nope. They take DHL's word (which was that the package was delivered) and pin the blame on me.

Honestly, we've all had deliveries go missing at some point, especially when it's a package from abroad. However, to completely disregard any other possibility of human error or system failure (e.g. porch pirates, delivered to the wrong address, lost during transit, etc) and go straight to pinning the blame on the customer, one who had originally paid you, is unacceptable.

It's obvious that they are simply targeting me due to it being easier then going after DHL. I've never had a single company try to charge me for their mistake before. Completely ridiculous!

Here's one quote from my email conversation with their horrifically bad customer service team:

"But the item was delivered to your house ... not to some random person at a random location."

It being marked as delivered is not evidence of a successful delivery, that's a delivery driver pressing a button on a tablet, which is subject to human error.

Stay away from Gaming Heads, their website is clearly buggy. That and their atrocious customer service has caused one of my worst experiences with a business ever.

Wholesale?? DON'T BOTHER!

If you have a business and are looking to wholesale, DON'T BOTHER!!!! I have a legitimate business that has been in operation for 4 years and I've sold well over half a million dollars in product.
I applied for a wholesale account. Never heard back. So I applied and again. I was also emailing trying to figure out why 3 weeks had gone by and no response.
FINALLY!! I got a response telling me that I needed to add their items to my site. I thought, well I don't want to add them yet because I don't have them in stock... but whatever. I added them and reapplied! A few days later I got another email saying I was again denied. This time was because I didn't have enough items on my site. So I added a lot more! Then... reapplied.
I figured that was it! I would for sure get approval now. You guessed it! I didn't! I got an email that told me I was denied because I said I would put their items on eBay. Now, this is where I get angry - there is a box in their wholesale application that asks if you will sell them anywhere else and a specific box for eBay. So, thinking it would be better for my application, I hit "Yes". Boy was I wrong!
So I emailed back and said FINE!! I will not sell them anywhere else but my website. There is no need to deny my application for that - just tell me you do not allow it and I will not do it. I am trying to make money and this is just pathetic. I also submitted a new application where I told them that I fully agree to all of their terms and that I will not sell anything of theirs on eBay!!
2 weeks later - multiple applications and multiple emails later and no response. I am just being ignored now. I do feel like no matter what I do, they will not approve me. I don't know why. I am a real business. I constantly have companies sending me samples of products to get me to wholesale with them.... but it's impossible with GamingHeads!
Do I recommend even bothering to try to get a wholesale account with them? NO! But then again, I feel like they are denying me for some other reason....

Mediocre products, new high prices, and low business standards.

So apart from unreasonably long pre-order wait periods (honestly years long with nearly a dozen release date changes) and mediocre quality control, Gaming Heads is now increasing the prices of old statues on their site and adjusting the "visible" prices of long sold out pieces for new customers so that it looks as if they used to sell for far more than they actually did. Just to make the new higher prices look more acceptable comparatively? For Elder Scrolls alone, the exclusive Nightingale statue was never more than $339, now it's suddenly $449. And the Shrine of Talos was never more than $180 before it sold out, yet now they're claiming it sold out at $270, to make new, higher prices for available statues more digestable. Very deceptive. Beyond this, their statues are of very mediocre quality when compared to other companies like Weta, Sideshow or Gecco. Soft, bland digital sculpt details, inconsistent scale between the statues of a series, and lazy painting with ugly, plastic bases. Very disappointing. Haven't seen a collectibles company this bad since First4Figures...
