My lazy go to dress for work.

I brought a Gap sweater dresses! I am so happy with my purchase . It is super soft, flattering, and easy to style up or down. Great quality and perfect for cooler weather—definitely a wardrobe staple.

Received a sweatshirt for Christmas…

Received a sweatshirt for Christmas that was too big, after trying on. Tried to return it for one size smaller, even with a gift receipt, and was told that they couldn't accept it, as it had a small stain on it. I assume it was there when new, since I only tried it on. I will never shop at Gap, and will advise others of my experience. Not happy

LONG EXPLANATION but important

LONG EXPLANATION but important. I have spent thousands at online Gap and Old Navy/ CANADA. On July 26 I received confirmation of my t-shirt order for 43$ On the 27th I wanted to re-order the same shirt as it was listed at 8.48. I called customer service and after 15 minutes, the agent said there was nothing he could do as the 8.48 did not show up on his system. Ok, no problem. On the 28th I went to re-order again and it still showed the 8.48 cost! I called customer service agent and after sending him a screen shot, ( clearly showing the CA site and my CA shopping bag) said there was nothing he could do. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor, Veronica, said she would forward the info to tech as the 8.48 was not showing up on their end. I assume she could make discretionary decisions, despite the photo, this mega co. would not refund me 31.47 for their error! After 33 min of trying Veronica finally said I would get the refund and as a token they would give me 20% off my next purchase. I told her to keep the 'courtesy coupon' and I was posting this review and never shopping with the Gap again. For 33 min, I remained professional and polite. I told Veronica I couldn't beleive they would lose my business/get bad reviews for their 31.47 error,not mine. I insisted that a report of the incident be forwarded along with commendations for the 2 wonderful agents I spoke to initially and obviously, just following instructions.

The new Gap SCAM

Ordered 5 items. Returned entire order (all 5 items) in same package.
No refund. Called Gap. Was told to wait another week.
Waited. Received refund for 3 items. Received another refund for 4th item. Called Gap again. Was told a ticket (or some similar BS was created). Still no refund for 5th item.
Went online and read reviews. Many people reporting same experience. SCAM. Gap wants you to give up and they keep some of your money.
What serious company issues separate refunds like this anyway? Gap used to be very reliable. Not now.

Poor shipping practices

Received my order, was dirty, obviously taken off a display as sleeves where still rolled up from merchandising, the shipping bag was dirty and the garment was not protected in inside packaging. Arrived a dirty crumpled mess. Solution was for me to return the item and they would replace it, but I had to do all the work and it would take a significant amount of time before a replacement would be ready (4-6 weeks), zero apology zero compensation. do better GAP!!!!!

Huge Sizing and shipping issues

Their customer service is very good. However, it has to be for how much they fail on every other level. What happened to Gap? The clothing sizes make no sense anymore. I bought the same pair of pants in 4 colours and NONE were the same size or length. One was too small, one was at least 2 sizes larger than it should have been, one was a good size, another was sized correctly, but 3 inches shorter than the others. I also bought a few sweaters in the same style (but different colours). One I had to get a size smaller than typical as my size was sold out. Well… the smaller one fit BIGGER than the other 2 I purchased one size up. I’m familiar with textile dyes altering sizing slightly, but this is NOT that. This is chop shop/forced labour quality. Secondly, they cannot meet shipping commitments. Three orders in a row I paid premium shipping prices for them to deliver it aligned with the free shipping/one week timeframe.

Customer service is good with correcting these issues/refunding shipping, but the headache that goes along with it and having to rebuy/return items bc of their failed quality controls is very frustrating.
