Garage door on block so not attached to house. The door wouldnt shut sadly not covered by insurance. Rang this company up , they came and repaired the door the same day very impressed. Great service all round from the team and more then happy with the price.

Garage Door Wizards did a brilliant Job of getting rid of my old rotten garage door frame and old garage door. Replace it with a modern new garage door which I love and replaced the garage door frame. They came on time and were efficient with a reasonable price. I recommend Garage Door Wizards to anybody in the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk areas. They got on with the job with no problems. Excellent company with first rate people working for them. My garage spring broke after hours. Sean came to look at it even though it was after 8pm. We made arrangements to have it repaired the following morning. He showed up on time and was very courteous. Replaced the spring and wheels in under 45 minutes. Highly recommend this company.

I offered to write a review for Garage Door Wizards, without being asked, as their service was excellent.

As I am visually impaired, I have to be cautious in dealing with suppliers and others.

One firm who came out to see me about my broken garage door opening mechanism told me I would need to have the garage door replaced. They said this was because a new door opening mechanism would not be compliant with modern standards. They quoted me price not much less than £1000.

When GDW came out, they confirmed that they could replace the door opening mechanism parts with parts currently being manufactured by the original door manufacturer. They confirmed these parts were compliant with current standards. This was also confirmed by another supplier who quoted for the work.

As a result of having the door opening mechanism replaced, not the whole door, I was charged around £100 not nearly £1000.

As well as clearly being very expert with garage doors I also found the engineer to be friendly and helpful in his approach. He didn’t’ try to sell me a new garage door, although he gave me a much lower quote for a new door if I wanted to replace in the near future.

At the time, not being able to open the garage door was a big worry. GDW’s prompt visit and repair were a big help.

At the time of writing, I would have no hesitation in recommending the team at GDW for any problems connected with garage doors.

Highly recommended. Kind, courteous and an extremely thorough job completed. In regular contact leading up to the arranged date to make sure everything was ok to go ahead. Reasonable prices. 5 stars from me
