I am writing to formally raise a serious safety : reputation concern regarding my Mercedes-Benz vehicle currently at Gargash service center.
While driving normally, the roof component suddenly detached/opened unexpectedly during the drive, which could have caused a very serious accident and represents a major safety issue. This was completely unexpected and was not caused by misuse, impact, or external damage.
Most importantly, during my latest service visit at Gargash, I was not informed of any issue related to the roof, panoramic system, or any component requiring attention or repair. The vehicle was serviced and returned without any warning or recommendation regarding this matter.
I strongly believe this is a technical/mechanical failure and not a wear-and-tear issue that I should be held responsible for.
I was extremely surprised to receive a repair quotation of approximately AED 10,000 and I do not accept bearing the repair cost for what appears to be a serious technical and safety-related defect.
I kindly request:
Immediate escalation of this case
Full repair coverage/goodwill support
A complete technical investigation
Resolution within 24 hours due to the seriousness of the issue and the safety risk involved
As a Mercedes-Benz customer, I expect proper support and responsibility for such a critical issue.
Sharjah branch they gave me a very bad customer service, and even they didn’t provide a formal advice or a peace of paper or even an inception report!!!
