Great adult reading scheme
I have found there are so few good adult reading books on the market. They are either based on phonetics which means they frequently don't make sense and seem very childish or the level of vocabulary in the starting readers is way too high.
The King Street readers on the other hand are perfect. The first books only have one sentence on each page and use basic vocabulary. There are enough in each stage that I only had to buy one full set and had enough for my whole ESOL group. They loved the idea and all but one took a book (some of them took two!) home.

Great way of dealing with people.
Since it's the only book that I've found after a lot of research online, I'm happy that the comunication with the author where so quicker and clear. Fast shipping and very well organized company.

Yes we can read
Book is clearly laid out for an amateur teacher to follow and so far (though as yet only 45 pages in) has been easy for my dyslexic nephew in law to understand and read - something a different system failed to do - and has encouraged him to start to read road/shop signs etc in his daily life.

Books arrived promptly and well packaged, but one title was missing from a set of 3 and 2 copies of the same book sent instead. When notified, Customer Services were very apologetic and promised to send the missing book. This is the first time this has happened, and prior orders from Gatehouse have been dealt with correctly and efficiently.
